Are these or the Crystal Bullets better against the Destroyer?

Double damage?

This page claims the bullet and the explosion will both damage the target, effectively doubling the damage. But at least in PC 1.2.4.1 I see no evidence that this is true. Has it changed perhaps? Can anyone else verify or refute this claim?—BlueMana (talk) 04:51, 5 May 2015 (UTC)

I went and did a bit of testing. This is probably true against multi-segmented enemies or something, but against normal dudes a direct hit deals damage once. Other things can be caught in the blast, but i-frames cause single-body enemies to step through the explosion. Somebody might want to check the source to verify (it might just be that the bullet deals no damage), but in any case the claim as stated was untrue. Gearzein (talk) 05:41, 5 May 2015 (UTC)
