I don't know enough about the templates or lua to change it myself, but the infocard for both the Mace and Flaming Mace are listed as dealing 9 damage, when the one in-game says 19, can that get fixed? --Wrpen (talk) 05:31, 18 May 2020 (UTC)

Hi @Wrpen, we get the damage data straight from the game's source code, and I just verified that the Flaming Mace does 9dmg in code. I will check in-game, but for the time being can you make sure you've taken off all your accessories, armor, and buffs before checking the damage number? It definitely says "19 melee damage" in-game, no damage buffs or modifiers involved, and it deals about 19 damage when thrown and 9 when spun. Maybe there are two different values, one determining its spin damage and the other its thrown? If so that should be clarified, if not, where the hell is it getting the extra damage from? --Wrpen (talk) 05:44, 18 May 2020 (UTC)
I just verified in-game, you were correct. All flails which exhibit the new 1.4 functionality have an incorrect damage value in the wiki, because the source code value somehow gets doubled before being displayed in-game. If you'd like to temporarily overwrite this, add this line: | damage=###. Thank you for pointing this out! Breathlessblizzard (talk) 05:57, 18 May 2020 (UTC)
