Patrol

I have begun a patroller group. Want to participate? It should make reviewing the recent edit feed much easier on all of us. happypal (talk • contribs) 08:48, 29 August 2011 (UTC)

Sounds great. I always have a recent changes tab open and being a patrol would be great when no one is on at night except me/unautoconfirmed contributers. --NullTalk 22:05, 29 August 2011 (UTC)
By the way, I will never mark as patrol on translation pages. (Still checking for obvious English vandalism) --NullTalk 22:59, 29 August 2011 (UTC)

Armor Changes

Sorry, I see now that the history on those armors concerning 1.0.3 graphical updates was correct. I should very well have realized that the official patch notes are incomplete at times. I'll try to look more closely in the future. -- TechpriestMagos 13:26, 3 September 2011 (UTC)

No problem. --NullTalk 14:23, 3 September 2011 (UTC)

RE:Animation

Great to hear! I've been thinking of creating them for some time now, and if the community likes them I'll happy create them for all items. Mark (Talk) 16:15, 4 September 2011 (UTC)

Requests

I'd like to request a Cobalt Armor image upload when possible, as well as perhaps the other two variants of Adamantite armor sets to complete the page. I added three of the new armor sets to the Defense Items page, so we just need the images and we're golden. Oh, and one more question. Are you the creator of NullSpellEditor by any chance?

EDIT

I took the liberty of adding at least one of the Cobalt Armor sets, since I found a picture from the teaser that I could crop myself. However, I don't have any of the armor sets for the others, currently.

Alright, I'll work on as soon as I get home (maybe could now even since this computer has Photoshop on it). --NullTalk 16:48, 2 December 2011 (UTC)
Thanks Null. Much appreciated. -- Beschutzer 01:30, 5 December 2011 (UTC)

Opinion?

User:ILiaWneK/Sandbox/item drops infobox used in User:ILiaWneK/Sandbox. How is it? [[iLiaWneK|talk|contributions]] 19:59, 21 October 2011 (UTC)

Want to help this wiki but have no idea what is the best now.

Hi! I am new there and want to help this wiki as i love Terraria very much. However, i dont know what is the most needed thing right now. I have been trying to collect modifiers, but they were on Reforge page what i missed >_<. Maybe i should do redirecting pages? Can you give me advice what the wiki needs the most right now?

Expanding stubs from new items in 1.1 would be the greatest help right now. --NullTalk 16:01, 3 December 2011 (UTC)

Main page talk edit

Hi; I was wondering why you removed my suggestion on the Main page discussion. Is there a better location for suggestions? Or do you think it was a bad suggestion? --Firelizzard

I've moved it to Terraria Wiki:Curse noticeboard. The Curse noticeboard is for anything that is MediaWiki software or Curse related. --NullTalk 16:53, 6 December 2011 (UTC)
Thanks, I'll put any other suggestions there too. --Firelizzard

New Bureaucrat

In case you were busy and didn't notice, I put your name forth as a possible new bcrat on the admin noticeboard. Just a heads up. --JonTheMon 20:50, 8 December 2011 (UTC)

I have promoted you to Bureaucrat. You retain all your admin rights, but now also have the ability to promote new admins as needed. As such, it is expected for you to communicate with the other admins, and address any concerns, issues. I am always available, simply post a message on my talk page and I'll be here. -- Wynthyst File:Curseicon.png talk 15:19, 16 December 2011 (UTC)
Congrats! --JonTheMon 15:21, 16 December 2011 (UTC)
Okay, and thank you JonTheMon. --NullTalk 22:17, 16 December 2011 (UTC)
Well done! — iLiaWneK (talk) 23:59, 16 December 2011 (UTC)
Thanks. --NullTalk 00:06, 17 December 2011 (UTC)
Looks like I missed everything while I left the wiki for a couple of months. Thanks for all your work maintaining the wiki, and welcome to the BCrat team. happypal (talk • contribs) 13:08, 18 January 2012 (UTC)

Source

You state that you have access to the source, and I presume that this includes the newest content. Would you be willing to share your secrets? Trying to see about making some UI mods. Morse 07:25, 13 December 2011 (UTC)

Pretty sure that if you have the full edition of the .NET Visual Basic studio, you can just extract the source directly from terraria. It's not rocket science, same with Java and Minecraft. ColdReactive 07:36, 13 December 2011 (UTC)
Visual BASIC? I thought the game was in C# or C++ or whatever... ? --GauHelldragon 09:03, 13 December 2011 (UTC)
It requires the .NET Framework (Version 4.0) For one. ColdReactive 15:02, 13 December 2011 (UTC)
I'd been trying to do it via Reflector, which is what a lot of guides have said to use, but it keeps hanging on the player class file for some reason. I'd figured that something had changed in 1.1, since every guide I've seen has been from June/-August. Morse 17:55, 13 December 2011 (UTC)
Sorry for using your talk page as a discussion board about how to get the source code, but to stop people from asking: Read this. --Icke 23:39, 13 December 2011 (UTC)
Late reply: as Icke does, just use ILSpy on Terraria.exe. Unless you fix the decompilation errors, you won't be able to recompile Terraria and get mods working. Terraria was written in C# using .NET 4 and XNA 4. --NullTalk 01:38, 14 December 2011 (UTC)

Bot

I'm not sure who I should contact these days as all bureaucrats/curse members seem to be inactive, but recently I made a bot to automate some boring tasks. This is working great, but it would be best if a separate bot account is used for this. I've created a separate account for this User:0icke0bot, however as an admin I'm unable to add this account to the bot user rights group or give this account admin rights (So I can use the bot account for deleting pages, rather than my own account). So I was wondering whether you could do this. I've already asked Eyes and Happypal, but I got no response, so I assume they are inactive. --0icke0 (talk) 10:07, 7 June 2014‎ (UTC)

Curse-made Terraria videos

Hi there, I'm your new primary Curse contact since Wyn's passing. I apologise for just leaping in, but needs must. Our video content manager is very interesting in making gameplay videos for Terraria. Would you be interested / willing to have this sort of content on Terraria Wiki, and in particular on the main page ? — Game widow (talk) 23:38, 16 July 2014 (UTC)
