Youtube page

We are developing a video policy. Dedicated video pages are not part of it, and are inappropriate. If people simply wish to link their videos to increase their personal youtube hits, or beg for subscriptions, they can do so on the forum. -- Wynthyst File:Curseicon.png talk 06:25, 13 June 2011 (UTC)

I wasn't trying to provide hits as that means nothing at all. They were examples of what the glitch does and how they swarm into 1 mob. I moved them to a separate page because it did clutter the area, but I wasn't aware that it was against the rules. May I ask why is it important to not have videos on the wiki? Is it truly not to provide hits because that was not my intention at all. -- ❤Kalilla❤ 06:30, 13 June 2011 (UTC)
I personally hate having videos on the wiki, I think they are inappropriate and cause unnecessary drama, however, the powers that be have insisted the extension be made available and utilized. To deal with it we are in the process of developing the Terraria Wiki:Video policy proposal please join the discussion :D You can see by the guidelines we are putting forward, the use of video in mainspace is going to be very limited. Tips, guide

I noticed you "Harpy/tips" page. Main space isn't really the place to put such info, however, we have a Guide space where such articles would be great. See Terraria_Wiki:Projects/Guides. Value

Since you seem to have a lot of experience using the value template (and by that I mean you are the one that used it the most), I have a question to ask you: I find "value" is clunky and requires tons of letters for very little. it definitely adds up when you have to use it 500 times lol. I saw you making those pages and I think {{gc}} would be easier for users that normally do not use it that much. So yea, I think it would help a lot. I'd use it probably, as it takes some thinking when you are using the value tag (that's what wore me down the most making that page). -- ❤Kalilla❤ 13:43, 17 June 2011 (UTC)
25{{gc}} 25 or {{gc|25}} 25 GC is pretty easy, I've noticed tho that it looks much better when the value number is bolded. IDK tho, might just be a personal preference. -- ❤Kalilla❤ 13:49, 17 June 2011 (UTC)

Anyway, the point here is if Harpy Feather should have its own article (at the same way as enemies' projectiles have, like Burning Sphere) or not. Image cache

Hi Kalilla! Just a note so you understand how the image cache works and stop reuploading images over and over. The server has an internal cache that is about 10 minutes... given our recent and ongoing hardware issues, this may be a bit longer at the moment. So please wait at least 15 minutes, and then go back to the image and clear your browser cache (Ctrl+F5 for most browswers) before you reupload the image. Yea, I was just freaking out because I reverted Yeh's change without thinking it through. I'd usually avoid that problem to begin with but its 6 am and I'm kinda tired. I'm still getting use to the system and I apologize for the stress I may have put on the server.
