Questions

  • Is there any way to take an in game screen shot? Or do you need to use an external source in order to take pictures of Terraria?
    • Hey, IF you bought it from Steam, you can press F12 in-game and Steam will capture a screen-shot. From there you can press the "Prtsc" key once you uploaded it and copy-pasta it onto something such as Gimp or Paint. If you need to crop to something, go ahead. Or you can press the "Prtsc" key directly from the game, but I have no idea if this works. --Reginald 23:53, 21 May 2011 (UTC)


  • I can't post in the terriaonline forums, I don't receive emails from my aol account to confirm my account in the forums!


  • On certain weapons, such as the minishark, there are 3 speed stats: Use time (which I understand), Shoot, and Shoot speed. They all have different values, what do Shoot and Shoot Speed mean?
  • I'm a PRO at terraria and i've no CLUE what this means.
  • i believe that the use time if referring to the rate of fire and the Shoot speed is referring to the velocity the gun gives to the bullets.Michelangelo42 (talk) 11:48, 12 September 2014 (UTC)

It says in a creepy writing style- "You feel an evil presence watching you...". OK heres the setting, I went to the guide - For help - and he said he thought i was ready to defeat the Eye of Cthulu. I ignore this because I knew I was ready, and I remmembered I need more bombs. So, I went to the demolitionist to buy some. He ran inside. I thought, WTF? And then it said that I felt an evil presence watching me. PLZ HELP!!! -DwezaltheArgonian


  • when I beat easymode and entered hard mode twice the worlds wont let be back on and there is two blank spaces and when I create a new world the name is World 3 how do I fix so I can play on my hard mode wolds?!?!?

Image upload

Whenever I try to upload an image for Pinky, it says Could not rename file "/tmp/phptgKbrw" to "public/1/17/Pinky.png". Help? I really want to contribute this image. --Reginald 23:53, 21 May 2011 (UTC)

It's under a .PNG file and I have it on still in the "My Pictures" folder (if that's what you mean by 'resident on your computer'). --Reginald 02:35, 22 May 2011 (UTC)
Well, in needs a lowercase extension, and based on the path you indicated in your initial post, it's in a tmp folder with a filename of phptgKbrw. It doesn't matter what the file name is, but the extension must be .png (lowercase). Creating Biomes

Hiya. I'm not new to this site or to the game obviously, but I'm kinda new at working my way around forums and stuff. Anyway, I'm doing this project where I'm kind of hollowing out a world and building it from scratch. So my question is can I move certain biomes? Like, If I dug out all the pre-existing marble from a marble biome and put it in another place, would the same enemies spawn there? If not, whatever I'll just leave it.

It seems mini-biomes, such as the Marble biome, cannot be recreated. I'm not sure though, you'll have to test it.TOTORO01 (talk)

My game keeps freezing

Truffle npc issues

I made a house for the truffle npc and he lived in it for a while until he died about 4 hours ago, he hasn't came back to live in the truffle house yet because my other npcs keep moving into the truffle house even tough they were already living in a house. I keep relocating the npcs back to their houses but as soon as i do that a different npc will move into the truffle house. How do i stop this so that the truffle npc van move back into his mushroom house, thanks. Jjude5 (talk) 01:51, 15 July 2020 (UTC)
