Talk:Chandeliers

It seems like the dungeon chandeliers don't spawn for me after searching dozens of newly created dungeons. All the other new furniture does spawn commonly everywhere. Has anyone been able to find them, or are they just rare like some of the paintings? 85.156.70.188 14:43, 21 May 2014 (UTC)

I came by here to ask the same question. I've generated many worlds, both small and medium, but not a single chandelier has appeared. If they're not in large world dungeons, then they're not in the game yet. FyreNWater (talk) 01:47, 11 June 2014 (UTC)

So here is the deal guys: I just created 50 Terraria 1.3.0.5 worlds. And I checked everyone of them with "TerraMap" for Blue Dungeon Chandelier / Green Dungeon Chandelier / Pink Dungeon Chandelier. And absolutely nothing on any map. I mean it's still random but 50 is a big number. Proof here. --M0ritz (talk) 12:58, 17 July 2015 (UTC)

Values

I have noticed that on this page (and perhaps another, but I could neither recall nor locate it, if so) that the statement is made that "Chandeliers come in many varieties which differ ... in ... sell value." However, no prices are listed on this page at all, unlike the list of torches. Does anyone have this information handy, and is there a reason such a field is not in the table for the Chandeliers? Even one without some or all values would allow and perhaps encourage contributors to fill them in as they locate them, which may be of more assistance than keeping the information completely absent when some may have it available, at least in part. Good point. The reason the sell values are missing is a combination of oversight, and the fact that the crafting table used for these lists doesn't currently offer a way to display that information. Originally, each item had its own page; then, when Terraria was updated to add dozens of variants for each furniture item, they were combined into these large lists and the crafting display was (lazily) recycled for this purpose. We'll need to either modify the crafting template to add some fields (not a small job), or add a second simpler table to pages like this that displays the missing info. I'll likely implement the latter option for the time being, and maybe I or someone else will get something more elegant in place later. Equazcion ^(talk) 08:30, 12 Jun 2015 (UTC)

Large Dynasty Lantern

This is deliberate- the Large Dynasty Lantern is part of the complied Lanterns image, which couldn't have happened accidentally. I've gone ahead and changed the redirect. Gearzein (talk) 14:49, 8 September 2015 (UTC)
