Recipe as per guide (not current)
Putting any other drill in the guide shows this as a possible crafting result. The recipie being 1 of each cobalt/mythril/adamantite drills, 1 of each cobalt/mythril/adamantite chainsaws, and 5 each of the essences I assume drop from the 3 new super-bosses (soul of might, etc). 66.44.164.172 15:55, 3 December 2011 (UTC)
- Yes. Problem is, recipe template doesn't support more than 6 items, as it seems. --Barhandar 16:02, 3 December 2011 (UTC)
"Remarks"
The part about "Although the Pwnhammer..." should go under a remarks subject, not trivia. ColdReactive 20:59, 12 December 2011 (UTC)
- We've never hand a remarks section. Maybe notes. -- TechpriestMagos 21:17, 12 December 2011 (UTC)
- Still, it's not "Trivia-y" enough, and notes are more for observations, rather than "This isn't really supposed to be a good thing, but they're doing it anyway." ColdReactive 01:15, 13 December 2011 (UTC)
- Seems pretty "Trivia-y" enough to me, it's a small arguably unimportant fact. Pretty much the definition of trivia right there. -Fishy 01:52, 13 December 2011 (UTC)
- I don't think it implies a positive or negative quiality at all. It just observes that the Hamdrax isn't made from any hammers, yet it can act as a Pwnhammer. Actual "remarks" don't even belong in articles anyway, as this is supposed to be an encyclopedic source of information, not a forum for bandying opinions and conjecture. -- TechpriestMagos 01:59, 13 December 2011 (UTC)
- Tell that to the people at HRWiki.org then. ColdReactive 15:03, 13 December 2011 (UTC)
- The fact that it counts as a Pwnhammer to destroy altars, it's actually an important note. Once you have a Hamdrax, you no longer need to keep a Pwnhammer if you only want it to do that. Mith - Talk 20:32, 16 December 2011 (UTC)
- It's definitely appropriate for the notes. That's why we have a notes section. Let's not make up new sections when an existing one will do. :) *edit* Ha ha and apparently I had left it under trivia. Oh well, it isn't critical that it's in one section or another so long as it's there. --Theothersteve7 20:34, 16 December 2011 (UTC)

But there IS a picksaw now, from the golem — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.180.19.149 at 21:17, 2 October 2013 (UTC)
Remake the hamdrax page?
I know the PC version has updated, and you can no longer get a Hamdrax, but console users use this wiki as well, and won't find a reliable information about the hamdrax anymore on here...--217.216.36.182 09:54, 21 November 2013 (UTC)
Shadow chest (mobile version)
(Mobile version) I got a drax from a shadow chest, bug? I'm not lying. (unknown poster) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 123.100.131.18 at 21:32, 13 December 2014 (UTC)
- A lot of people have reported this. I don't think it's intended behavior, but if it's a bug then you'd do better to report it on the bug report forums. That said, since it wasn't fixed in the big 1.2 mobile update, I wouldn't expect a hasty response. Gearzein (talk) 21:42, 13 December 2014 (UTC)

(enough of that, it's on the page now.) --MentalMouse42 (talk) 12:06, 10 December 2017 (UTC)
Regarding the "Pickaxe Axe is half a second faster than the Drax, just like every Hardmode Drill/Pickaxe" line
Where does this come from? I can't find any reason why it would be considered faster. Also "half a second" over what interval? I'm just incredibly confused by this and really want an explanation. Their mining speeds are identical, everything is the same. The only difference I can see is pickaxes can get the "light" modifier. Admittedly this would make it faster, but the base tools shouldn't have any difference and this page is perpetuating what I was positive was a dead rumor. If I can't get an explanation that makes sense I'm going to remove this from the page. Forstrei (talk) 04:29, 1 February 2019 (UTC)
