Sorting by Duration problem

When you sort items by duration, the numbers don't work out. It sorts the teens before the single digit numbers, so ascending order ends up being 10, 15, 2, 3, 4, 7. This can be fixed by writing 03, 04, etc. but it won't be pretty. Is there another way to fix this problem? FyreNWater (talk) 02:13, 19 January 2015 (UTC)

Sorting by Effect doesn't work correctly.

I think this is due to some of the effects missing the platform version, but this page is kind of a nightmare to work on. Shatteredsword59521 (talk) 04:08, 23 May 2020 (UTC)

Teacup

Right now the Teacup doesn't show entries for effect, duration or icon - but as far as I can tell it should, since it gets its data from the same sort of... database-object-thingy that item infoboxes get them from. Right now I can't find the bloody thing, but I can only suspect that some minor divergence causes the problem. Like capitalization or a missing closing parenthesis. --51.79.86.173 21:07, 29 May 2020 (UTC)

Seafood dinner

Seafood dinner grants medium improvements, not major improvements? I would request a double check of these entries 122.111.245.120 10:00, 13 June 2020 (UTC)

Should we count Grapes as fruits?

Weird question, I know, but consider:

  • Grapes cannot be used in recipes that require Any Fruit.
  • Grapes grant a whopping 16 min duration buff, while all the other fruits only give 5 min (even the Dragon Fruit and Star Fruit that give the similar Plenty Satisfied buff).
  • Grape Juice is the only item crafted from "fruits" that grant Exquisitely Stuffed.
  • It isn't dropped from trees, etc.

I think we should separate Grapes from the fruit group tbh. I also advocate for changing the Fruits pages and the buff potions master table similarly. Anzasquiddles (talk) 21:28, 20 June 2020 (UTC)

The "ELIZA effect" has some bite here indeed -- Have you verified that they don't qualify as "Any Fruit" in fruit salad etc.? If so, I'll say that nails shut the coffin, given it would seem the game itself agrees it's "not a fruit". --MentalMouse42 (talk) 23:04, 20 June 2020 (UTC)
Looking at the "Alternatives" page, it seems indeed they don't. I've edited the Fruits page. --MentalMouse42 (talk) 23:13, 20 June 2020 (UTC)
Thanks. Edited the Buff potions master table as well. Anzasquiddles (talk) 05:47, 21 June 2020 (UTC)

Wrong icon for BBQ Ribs and Spaghetti

For BBQ Ribs and Spaghetti the buff you have listed for them is the "Exquisitely Stuffed" buff, which is correct, but the icon you have listed for them is the "Plenty Satisfied" icon. Was this a mistake? If not, maybe further clarification should be put into the article somewhere. 162.247.228.13 15:50, 30 July 2020 (UTC)

Formatting of main table...

Would it be reasonable to move the Crafting Station column to the right of the table? Since almost all of them are from the Cooking Pot, the effect is of a long gutter that vertically splits the table rows.... --MentalMouse42 (talk) 17:41, 30 July 2020 (UTC)

Does booze really belong on this page?

While grouping all the numerous foodstuffs in the game makes sense because they all basically grant different grades of the same buff (technically three buffs, but they're not stackable and there's a clear progression), Ale and Sake (and also Wiesnbräu) sort of stand out. I don't see a sound reason to group them with food instead of with other potions. Sure, they're supposedly non-magical and aren't called "potions", but so are honey and eggnog. And while ale and sake share their (de)buff, which is similar to food, the same is true of luck potions that aren't here. Also, all booze inflicts debuffs while food doesn't, but Red and healing potions do. Even the name of the article doesn't make sense -- most potions are "drink potions", seeing as the player drinks them! So I propose moving sake and ale to attack potion category and renaming this page to just "Food". It would make much more sense. 89.20.133.78 23:13, 3 February 2022 (UTC)

As hesitant as I usually am to make/suggest changes of this nature, I have to concur that these 3 items indeed seem very out of place in this page (almost jarringly so). Honestly they would fit a lot better with potions rather than with food, despite the notable intrinsic link between food and drink that (logically) would make you think they should be on the same page. And for only 3 items to be significantly different and out of place on a page that would be complete even without them, I have to second the proposed move, though I would rather gather a couple more opinions before making the move myself. I agree and support the move. Another thing that came to mind is that Hunger is alleviated by "food items". Neither Ale nor Sake (nor Wiesnbräu, obviously) have any effect on Hunger, though, so there's another discrepancy. --Rye Greenwood (talk) 14:15, 20 April 2022 (UTC)
