Talk:Horned God set

New Sprite?

I understand the latest Console update changed the sprite for the Horned God vanity set, as mentioned in the page's patch history. But I noticed something. The page itself doesn't even use a photo of the set's new sprite. Can someone, like, make a photo of it to use for the page? Because I literally cannot find a single picture on Google Images that has the Horned God set's updated appearance. PlanteraBlade (talk) 03:28, 11 June 2016 (UTC)

Hmmm… If you are a console player, You could picture the Horned God vanity set, import it in your computer, and photoshop it to remove the background, leaving just the vanity set.

The only reason I noticed this is because I am a Console player and have seen what the updated sprite looks like. However, I do all my work on a puny laptop, and I don't even know how to do photoshop. Besides, I'd rather have it be done by someone who knows what they're doing than have me go through what seems like a headache trying to figure it all out. Well, here's the photo. I actually just screenshotted a YouTube video for this. But then I had to download it to Google Drive and whatnot, so at least I have it here.

PlanteraBlade, don't forget to make it shareable, or post the shareable link. If you right-click on your image name (don't open it, just right-click on the name in your "My Drive"), you'll see an option for "Get shareable link". --Ferretwings (talk) 21:26, 11 June 2016 (UTC)

That's what I did. I saved the screenshot to a file in "My Drive", went to that file and right-clicked the image, then got a sharable link. It said "Link copied to the clipboard." That's when I came here and posted that sharable link to the image. When you go to the page the link takes you, I could right click the image again and get it opened in a new tab, if that's what you were wanting. PlanteraBlade (talk) 23:53, 11 June 2016 (UTC)

Actually, I don't have a Google account, I think you have to find another way, How about mediafire? You shouldn't need a Google account to view it. It won't give me access to the file you uploaded, PlanteraBlade. I've uploaded a png to my Google account. Here are 2 different links it gives me to the same file, can you view either of them? Hmmm… I can actually view Ferretwing's file, but for some reason, I can't view PlanteraBlade's file. It says 'Please sign in into Google'. Strange…...

Ya, This is the longest discussion I ever seen. Actually, I don't actually know how to picture my computer screen, so I can't make the photo if I can't picture my computer, anyways on how?

I'm not ready to give up... I have loads of experience with helping people work out computer issues. Like a dog with a bone, I can't let it go. I've uploaded another screenshot. PlanterBlade, when you select the file, do you see a green sharing icon? It looks like a piece of a chain.

When you right-click on the file, and click on Share, does it say "Anyone with the link can view"

At the risk of invalidating all of this work, it would probably be easier to have someone who actually has the console version take a suitable screenshot. Pulling from a youtube video seems inadvisable. I'm going to put in an inquiry on the official forums. We can't pull assets in this case, but we should still have the highest quality assets available. (Also it probably would've been easier to post a link to the video and a timestamp, or better yet a timestamped link actually youtube is blacklisted on curse wikis) Gearzein (talk) 04:40, 12 June 2016 (UTC)

I already mentioned I'm on it. Just kind of...had a minor setback. I seem to have misplaced the flash drive that had my character with the outfit already on him, so I'll need to do some Mech boss killings to get another set for use in a photo.
