Background wall spread

Hi there! just got through a discussion over at Talk:Corruption regarding whether backwall blocks can spread corruption (or crimson as the case may be). The user in question was kinda-confident that walls could only corrupt other walls, and not foreground blocks (unclear whether that could invalidate housing), but didn't affirmatively know the answer, and wasn't about to add it to the actual page, so I thought I'd cross-reference it here in hopes someone with more code-knowledge/experience would be able to help. I found this thread on the forums that confirms walls do not spread biomes.  ;-) In general, the forums are a good place to look for "dirty details", there's a lot of experienced players posting there. --MentalMouse42 (talk) 04:46, 17 August 2019 (UTC)

Posting this here as well, just for the sake of completion: I have taken a look at the source code, and it appears walls are in fact capable of spreading, but only to other, natural purity walls. Mod that change item

What is the mod used to switch corrupt items to crimson and vice versa? Please im confused Player2170 (talk) 17:13, 18 March 2020 (UTC)

Also i found that the demonite wepaons and crimtane weapons are counterparts as they can't be found in another world except if found in some mod worlds Player2170 (talk) 09:13, 19 March 2020 (UTC)

Hallow counterparts

I feel like it would be worth it to add Hallow counterparts to the page, for example the Mimic drops. --Godslayerchickennugget (talk) 13:02, 19 June 2020 (UTC)

I don't agree, Hallow has no pre-hardmode content so there is no counterpart to the orbs/hearts. Plus the Hallow Mimic has only 4 non-potion drops (it is missing an accessory). I think this page is best left for the Evil Biomes only. -- Breathlessblizzard (talk)
