bug?

Boomerang?

At first I thought this weapon was a flail, but it doesn't seem to be physically connected to the player. It returns to the player like a boomerang would, but unlike a boomerang, it can be kept in motion for a full minute after each throw. An editor placed it on the boomerangs page. The tooltip seemed to imply it wasn't a boomerang ("Throws.." meaning "It throws..."), or am I reading it wrong? Are we considering it a boomerang? --Ferretwings (talk) 23:34, 27 June 2016 (UTC)

If I had to say, it's closest to a boomerang, seeing as how you throw it and it comes back. Unlike ranged weapons, melee doesn't have the luxury of a Shroomite equivalent that conveniently breaks melee out into specific flail/sword/boomerang categories. That said, it's fine for more unique weapons like this to not exactly fall in with existing weapon classifications, especially when those labels would be mostly aesthetic like this seems to be. The current descriptor of "unique melee weapon" should be enough. Gearzein (talk) 23:20, 29 June 2016 (UTC)

Weapon Combinations?

The main page mentions that it works with the Phantom Phoenix and Yo-Yos, but is there a chance we could get a list or table of some sort listing all working combinations (could help with setups for some people) Kirby Baker (talk) 17:17, 18 January 2023 (UTC)
