Vandalism

It says Butt-Logic. Can somebody fix it? --Preceding unsigned comment added by 150.207.118.174 (talk • contribs)

Fixed. Zdroid9770 07:23, 27 December 2013 (UTC)
Where does it say that? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.202.187.36 at 15:47, 13 April 2021 (UTC)

How to become an Re-Logic Worker?

I'd like to become a Mod. How can I help? LuckyTux (talk) 17:20, 10 May 2015 (UTC)

To become a mod at the forum, you'd need to learn and follow their rules, and participate there long and well enough to become recognized as an asset to their operations, with quality contributions that improve the forum's quality. To become an administrator here at the wiki, you'd basically have to do the same, only here, at the wiki. Either of these things takes a while -- you can't just fill out an application. You need to become recognized through your work, over time, at either venue. Equazcion (talk) 17:38, 10 May 2015 (UTC)
It's also worth noting that neither of these things make you a member of Re-Logic. Wiki operators and forum mods have no more input on the game than any other user (which is to say nearly none). Gearzein (talk) 17:49, 10 May 2015 (UTC)

I've never been a beta tester

Not sure where the idea that I am a beta tester came from, but I am not currently, nor have I ever been, involved in the game's development in any way. I am simply a moderator of Terraria Community Forum and a former moderator of TerrariaOnline Forum. If you need verification of this, feel free to contact me on TCF by PM or on my profile. JayJeckel (talk) 04:26, 9 June 2016 (UTC)

Hmm… That's strange. Are you sure that you are a beta tester in Terraria or not? I know you are simply a moderator of Terraria Community Forum and a former moderator of TerrariaOnline Forum. Should I remove you from the beta testers, or you are just going to give me more information about yourself. ---IosKent (talk) 08:30, 9 June 2016 (UTC)---

Terraria Online

I've been thinking: Now that Terraria Online is officially down, do the developers need to show their TO profiles anymore? PlanteraBlade (talk) 05:37, 22 July 2016 (UTC)

Confirmed: Reddigit is Satanist

1) Red's helmet has an item ID of 666, the number of satan.
2) He left development in 2016, which is the sum of 666+666+666+6+6+6
3) The year he made the Moon Lord update, 2015, is the first Halloween in 666 years to be on a Friday 13th. 172.68.46.25

Hmmmmm. You have way too much time on your hands. Perhaps you could, oh, I don't know, use some of that time to make some real contributions to the wiki? We are always looking for good editors. – Ferretwings (talk) 13:44, 13 January 2017 (UTC)

👍 we could always use more editors!

Arkhalya getting fired

I heard from discord that Whitney "Cenx" Spinks stated she's fired at some point Player2170 (talk) 12:01, 17 March 2020 (UTC)

Can you please provide a link to where she said that? We need a verified source before making this kind of change. --Rye Greenwood (talk) 19:04, 19 March 2020 (UTC)
She did not get fired, she left the company for another job. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.134.149.239 at 08:39, 17 May 2020 (UTC)
Same to you: Please add a link to your (hopefully reliable) source. Because, incidentally, she was kidnapped by Lihzahrd-People and the shadow government is trying to cover it up. See what we mean? ;) --89.163.143.8 14:01, 6 June 2020 (UTC)

When will 1.4 come out on console

Does anyone have an estimated time for when 1.4 will come out on console... Asking for a friend 👀👀 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 107.77.236.19 at 20:49, 18 October 2020 (UTC)

The first paragraph refuses to work properly

I don't know why. I editted it to be exactly like a functional link, replacing the link and the text, but it won't show up. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Diabhork (talk • contribs) at 14:11, 28 February 2023 (UTC)

https instead of http seems to break it for some reason. SlabFoot20 (talk) 19:07, 28 February 2023 (UTC)
That fixed it. Thanks Diabhork (talk) 00:24, 1 March 2023 (UTC)
No problem! SlabFoot20 (talk) 03:09, 1 March 2023 (UTC)

Re-Logic Headquarters

I've found a source specifically entailing the location of the headquarters of Re-Logic as Floyds Knobs, Indiana; their website (https://re-logic.com). However, I do not know how to create a source, so it would be highly appreciated if somebody could insert the source on their own. SilverIsGold (talk) 00:37, 20 May 2023 (UTC)

It does say that. However, I also found that their Linkedin page says that Re-Logic Headquarters are located in Memphis, Indiana, not Floyd Knobs. They are close to each other, though, so I don't know which one is correct. SlabFoot20 (talk) 22:39, 20 May 2023 (UTC)

Issue with Pixel Privateers link

Pixel Privateers link broken.png

Bear with me, this is a very odd issue to encounter, so I will try to give as many details as possible.

On this page, in the intro, there is a Steam link to Pixel Privateers. In this edit, the link was changed from http to https. This, for some reason, breaks the link. An editor noticed this and tried to fix it, but they couldn't figure out how, so they made a thread on this talk page. I changed it back to http, but an admin reverted this, stating that the link was fine.

This was confusing: Why did the link work for the admin, but not for me or that editor? I tried looking into this, and I think I found the issue (or part of it).

I am using Brave browser, this link doesn't display here. I tried it with other browsers and it did show up, leading to the conclusion that the link is broken on the Brave browser. I also tried changing my theme on the wiki, but it doesn't seem to be related to themes. I attached an image of how this page appears for me currently, on the Brave browser. SlabFoot20 (talk) 15:29, 20 May 2023 (UTC)

I've tested it in Brave(v1.51.118), it works fine for me, both as guest and logged in. After doing some quick research, I think you can try to check the rules of Brave Shields. There is no filter rules in my Brave Shields, if you subscribe to some filter rules, one of them may be the root of this problem. --Westgrass (talk) 16:23, 20 May 2023 (UTC)
I am on the same version. Turning off Brave Shields does seem to do the trick, but do you think there is a better way to fix this globally? I think changing the link back to http would work fine for all browsers, but I really don't know. SlabFoot20 (talk) 16:37, 20 May 2023 (UTC)
Can you provide the filter list you subscribed to or the filter rules you set up? I need to reproduce this issue in order to research how to fix it.--Westgrass (talk) 16:45, 20 May 2023 (UTC)
I'm not sure if this is what you want, but this is a list I found at brave://settings/shields/filters. I only have the following 2 filters enabled:
- EasyList Cookie
- Fanboy's Mobile Notifications
-- SlabFoot20 (talk) 16:52, 20 May 2023 (UTC)
I Found this rule in EasyList: terraria.wiki.gg##[href^="https://store.steampowered.com/app/"] --Westgrass (talk) 17:45, 20 May 2023 (UTC)
Fixed.--Westgrass (talk) 17:50, 20 May 2023 (UTC)
I wonder why it was added; it's not like we're spamming or abusing Steam links... Unfortunately, GitHub fails to show me the git blame and a commit search yields no relevant results either. --Rye Greenwood (talk) 18:34, 20 May 2023 (UTC)
As a workaround, we can use encoded characters for steam URLs now. --Westgrass (talk) 04:07, 21 May 2023 (UTC)

Outdated information for "Altermaven"

I should know this, being who I am. But the Twitter for "thealtermaven" has long since been shut down. I advise that it should be removed. Also, the Tumblr is no longer relevant, since it is going to be discarded in favor of Co-Host. Perhaps point to this, so information is not only more relevant, but also up to date. Cheers. -W — Preceding unsigned comment added by ThatAltermaven (talk • contribs) at 15:31, 1 March 2024 (UTC)

Thanks! I updated the info. --Rye Greenwood (talk) 02:49, 2 March 2024 (UTC)
