Move template
I'm wondering if this template could be moved over to Template:Coin and convert {{pc}} throughout all the articles by a bot to be {{coin}} instead. If this happens then Template:Desktop icon along with the other 2 icons, console and mobile, will have the icon part of the name removed. User:Zdroid9770/Sig1 16:51, 30 December 2013 (UTC)
- If doing so the copper/silver/gold coin templates almost have to be moved as well to prevent confusion. And most people are already used to the icon part, so I think this will only cause more confusion, instead of making things easier. --0icke0 (talk) 10:54, 31 December 2013 (UTC)

New template
I thought of a new template to combine all the coin templates. It would be called {{Coin}} and how would it be used?
{{coin|c=54}} would generate 54 CC
C = Copper, S = Silver, G = Gold, P = Platium
You could even do something like this: {{coin|g=3|s=74|c=65}} would generate 3 GC 74 SC 65 CC
This would be great for many pages and I would spend my time converting on the articles from this template and the others to {{Coin}}. I'm just making sure I have permission to do so. The icons for the systems would, for an example, {{Desktop icon}} would redirect to {{Pc}}. {{Console icon}} would redirect to {{Console}}. {{Mobile icon}} would redirect to {{Mobile}}. - I like this. But this way would be easy:
{{coin||3|74|65}} would generate 3 GC 74 SC 65 CC,
{{coin|99|||75}} would generate 99 PC 75 CC. Also I know very easy way. With parcer functions I may create some stroke to Template:Item infobox. When user write price of item, instead this:
{{Item infobox
| type = Crafting material
...
| buy = {{gc|5}} {{cc|65}}
}}
- He write this:
{{Item infobox
| type = Crafting material
...
| buy = 565
}}
- And it displays exactly the same output on the page.
