Slime Rain event

Hello. I think you may have misunderstood my edit summary at Biome Key Mold. You edited the sentence so it says "...you could use an event or kingslime to farm the key mold." The King Slime is part of the Slime Rain event. So that sentence is saying you can use an event or an event. If you're giving someone instructions on how to build something, and you say "You could use a tool or a hammer." A hammer *is* a tool. Or if you tell someone they can use a data entry device or a keyboard. A keyboard *is* a data entry device. The Slime Rain event is an event, so it is redundant to put King Slime as an alternative to an event -- it *IS* part of an event. I'm not opposed to you adding a note concerning how the King Slime might make farming the keys easier, but its the "event or event" structure of the sentence that is just... off. If you'd like to add that in there, please make your edit a full sentence of its own, fully expressing the idea you're trying to convey. Thank you. SWAdair (talk) 07:18, 9 February 2016 (UTC)

Golden Fishing Rod and comments to SWAdair

Your edits to Golden Fishing Rod have been reverted. Summoning Duke Fishron is not fishing in the normal sense, and even if it were it's not a property of the golden fishing rod itself. It is already noted on Duke Fishron's page that fishing in lava near the edge of the world will summon him, so there's no need to add this comment to the rod's page. Continually readding the same note, especially with no punctuation or capitalization, is detrimental to the page even if it is strictly factual, and in this case it is not.

Further, in articulating your points to other users, resorting to personal attacks not only undermines your own point but is a violation of wiki policy. I wrote that so ur criticising me with my own addition really and about the King slime well he's summon able for the 50th time u have to wait for slime rain and on Console and mobile do they have slime rain no so do you want to wait ten days or one second

I'm not criticizing you, I'm criticizing your addition to Golden Fishing Rod. That was the point of my edit- target the work, not the user that added it. In that case it was correctly placed and in this one it's not. If you're parsing it solely as an attempt to attack you, then yes, I am using something you added against you, but that point of view is likely at the root of the problems in communication that we appear to be having.

I also never made any mention of King Slime; you may be mistaking me with another user. In order to avoid this, we sign our posts with four tildes (~~~~), which appends the name of the editor to their edits on talk pages. Please be sure to do this in the future. Recent Edits

Hello. The overwhelming majority of your recent edits have been removed. There are many reasons for this; many of your edits are either obvious statements, misplaced facts or speculative "lore" trivia additions not mentioned anywhere in game, and almost all of them are poorly spelled and formatted. Even just in terms of readability, these kinds of edits aren't acceptable on a public-facing wiki.

It's unfortunate, but if this continues I won't have much choice but to revoke your editing privileges. Combined with your recent comments towards other users, this is much more leniency than would normally be shown, but I feel it unfair to block a user who is ostensibly acting in misguided good faith without any sort of warning. Curious... I believe the Golem is an "Energy" Golem. He is summoned with a Power Cell, and his altar looks like it is exploding. It's seems so obvious to me, and I think it should be obvious to everybody. Will I add this to the wiki? No, because as obvious as it may seem to me, it is conjecture. It is an opinion. It is up to the editor to provide a source, they can't just add anything they want to the wiki.
