Forest　(森林)

Forest　(森林)はワールドの大部分を構成するバイオームであり、通常、プレイヤーが最初にスポーンする場所である。森林は純粋な緑の芝生、たくさんの木、いくつかの湖、そして丘が特徴である。森林には地下に宝物室がある生きている木が含まれる可能性がある。

森林はワールドの外側の3分の1ぐらいのところで顕著に変化する。ここでは、Tattered Cloth　(ぼろぼろの布)をドロップする、珍しいGoblin Scout　(ゴブリンスカウト)が出現し始める。（めったに）King Slime　(キングスライム)も出現し、エンチャントソードの神社もここにしか見られない。

メモ

森林の敵は弱いため、一番簡単なバイオームとされる。Clay Block　(粘土)、Stone Block　(石)、そしてWood　(木材)も簡単に見つけられるので、プレイヤーの初めての基地もここに造られるのが多い。
時々、土の表面に粘土、石、そして鉱石が見つけられることがある。
チェストは森林の所々に見つけられる。
ハードモードになると、新しい敵が追加されるとともに、ハードモード前の敵が強くなる。
(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) 桜と柳の木は1/20 (5%)の確率で出現することがある。
(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) 森林では倒れた木も見つけることがある。ここでは妖精が夜に出現する。

ヒント

純粋な森林はCorruption (腐敗)、Crimson (深紅)とHallow (ハロウ)の広がりによって消されることがある。腐敗・深紅・ハロウの森林はPurification Powder (純粋の粉)や緑の溶液とクレンタミネーターを使って純粋の森林に戻せられる。

- 森林が嫌いなNPCは2人だけで、好きなNPCは4人いる。この理由で、森林は他のバイオームよりも優れている。Hallow (ハロウ)は、この数に近い唯一のバイオームである。
