Tombstoneは、プレイヤーが死亡したときにドロップします。墓石は、それを回収して、signや装飾品のように使用することができます。デフォルトでは、墓石にはプレイヤーの死亡時に表示されるステータスメッセージが含まれており、通常はプレイヤーがどのように死亡したかを説明しています。さらに、1.4（(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions)）以降で作成された墓石は、プレイヤーが死亡した実生活の日付を表示します。

死亡すると、墓石は2×2の空のスペースに着地するまで跳ね回り、そこに自分自身を置きます。2つの墓石はお互いに着地することはできませんし、着地に失敗した場合(適切なスペースがないなど)は回収することもできません。

バリアントは死亡時にランダムに選ばれます。Golden Tombstonesは、プレイヤーのインベントリに10 GC個以上あった場合にドロップします。

墓石を6個以上近くに置くとGraveyard のミニバイオームが発生します。墓石を壊すと画面外にGhostが出現することがあります。

Strange Looking TombstoneStrange Looking Tombstoneは、Worm Petが死亡時に活躍するとドロップする3DS版3DSNintendo 3DS version限定の墓石です。ツールチップには「A Tombstone that kinda looks like a worm, right?」と書かれているにもかかわらず、一度採掘した墓石は再設置することができません。

ハードコアでは、死は永久に続くため、墓石を簡単に入手することができません。1.4.0.1(1.4.0.1(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions))では、ハードコアのキャラクターがいるワールドのNPCが殺されると墓石を落とすようになりました。これにより、ハードコアではないキャラクターがいなくてもGraveyardを作ることが可能になりました。

(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions)墓石が墓地を作成するという事実のために、彼らはDangersense Potionによって強調表示されます。

ヒント

  • Tombstones can be easily farmed by placing Hellstone or Meteorite directly under the spawn and then creating a new character. The player will die, create a Tombstone, and die again in a continuous loop. Alternatively, it can be done by digging straight down from the spawn so the newly spawned character will die from fall damage.
    • One could flood the spawn point with water so the character will drown, but it is very inefficient compared to other methods.

トリビア

  • Golden Tombstones, like all other tombstones, have no sell value.
  • On the Xbox 360 Xbox 360 version, before an unspecified patch, certain terms which could be considered profanity or sexual content written on tombstones would have resulted in the tombstone saying "(Censored)".
  • There is no golden variant of the Obelisk in any version of the game.
  • The Strange Looking Tombstone is inspired by the artillery turn-based tactics video game Worms 3, like the Worm Pet.
