Rollback

I've added the "rollback" feature to your account at Terraria Wiki. Please have a look at Help:Rollback for some important information about this tool and how it is to be used. Thanks, and feel free to contact me with any questions. Equazcion (talk) 17:19, 12 Nov 2016 (UTC)

Awesome, thank you! :) TOTORO01 (talk) 19:32, 12 November 2016 (UTC)
Remember not to use rollback except on blatant vandalism (referring to this). Please read Help:Rollback if you haven't yet -- it contains the rules, in addition to documentation. Flisch42 (talk) 00:59, 10 December 2016 (UTC)
Sorry about that, my internet wasn't working well and wasn't loading the page to undo, rollback was a quick fix to that. Won't happen again.TOTORO01 (talk) 01:09, 10 December 2016 (UTC)

Hair Dye on Mobile version

The Hair Dye page is contradictory. First, it says that Hair Dye cannot be placed into the player's inventory, and then under Notes, it says it can. They cannot both be correct. If you play this on mobile, could you please correct it? If you don't play it on Mobile, I'll assume the Note is correct, and edit the top to reflect the note. – Ferretwings (talk) 20:27, 13 November 2016 (UTC)

I feel the same way, I'm not sure if both are true or not.TOTORO01 (talk) 04:26, 14 November 2016 (UTC)

Defender Medal Purchases

Hey TOTORO01, do you think we should actually mention the purchase price on the page when it is stated in the item infobox? I'm just wondering about the repetition.LordofEditing (talk) 20:49, 16 November 2016 (UTC)

I was thinking about the same thing, this is how I have been adding the price for every NPC, sometimes people don't look at the infobox and only read the description.TOTORO01 (talk) 20:51, 16 November 2016 (UTC)
Ah. In that case carry on with what you're doing. LordofEditing (talk) 20:57, 16 November 2016 (UTC)

Talk pages

I noticed you cleared a talk page. We ask editors not to do this, even if it was their own edit. In the future, simply reply to your question with the answer you found. Even if it was an oops. Thanks :) – Ferretwings (talk) 07:45, 19 November 2016 (UTC)

Oh, okay... sorry about that, thanks for letting me know!TOTORO01 (talk) 07:50, 19 November 2016 (UTC)

Question for TOTORO01 about undoing an edit of mine.

In the Dark Mage page edit I made, you stated that the Gato egg and the Dragon egg do not have the highest drop rate of all pet summoning items. It's not that I don't believe you, but I can't find anything with a higher one. If you would be so kind, could you tell me which pet you are referring to?

Dungeon Guardian, he drops the bone key, I will check all pets and you should too, and then note it if it has a higher drop chance than most.TOTORO01 (talk) 08:30, 19 November 2016 (UTC)

Thanks, I didn't think to check that one, as for a pre hardmode character, it would be extraordinarily hard, nigh impossible to be able to kill the guardian.

Yeah, it probably would, if you want you could note that it's the most common pet drop pre hardmode? you'd still have to check all drop chances.TOTORO01 (talk) 08:35, 19 November 2016 (UTC)

I did check the rest of them, but, in my edit, I was talking only about enemy drop chances, not for things like the magical pumpkin seed, or the Carrot.

Okay, then yeah re-add it saying pre hardmode, also, please sign your comments and posts and talk pages and such with 4 tildes (~~~~).TOTORO01 (talk) 08:46, 19 November 2016 (UTC)

So like this? Peepachu (talk) 08:47, 19 November 2016 (UTC)

Yes, also if you look at the wikitext, you'll see that colons (:) are used when replying to someone, to create an indent.TOTORO01 (talk) 09:10, 19 November 2016 (UTC)
Always add 1 colon more than the comment before.TOTORO01 (talk) 09:10, 19 November 2016 (UTC)
Is this now acceptable? :P Peepachu (talk) 09:29, 19 November 2016 (UTC)
Haha, perfect! :P TOTORO01 (talk) 09:32, 19 November 2016 (UTC)

Krispion666

From what I can see, adding that '%' symbol to the infobox causes it to display 2 '%' symbols, which is why I fixed it. Does it not show up for you? --Krispion666 (talk) 20:15, 19 November 2016 (UTC)

Just reverted it, I hadn't even noticed that! Thanks for letting me know and sorry about that.TOTORO01 (talk) 02:49, 20 November 2016 (UTC)
No problem, happy to help. Thanks for your contributions and diligence. --Krispion666 (talk) 04:43, 20 November 2016 (UTC)

Rod of Discord

I can't believe people are saying that because the Rod of Discord is so rare that it is in fact unobtainable, which is utter nonsense. I have two of them, nicely stored in a Biome Chest in a pit of lava in Hell. But the fact that it is so rare is something to take notice of. LordofEditing (talk) 01:24, 23 November 2016 (UTC)

Yeah, I was a kinda questioning what they were thinking when the added that, I mean it's rare for everyone.TOTORO01 (talk) 05:23, 23 November 2016 (UTC)
I guess I got lucky. You see, the thing is with probability is that it never follows it's theoretical form, it tends to vary from side to side, as we recently found out in our math class (don't ask what year). So even though it says, for example drop chance in 0.33% 0.66% you might get two of them straight and then not get one for a few months! This is the annoying thing about probability. It is thoroughly unpredictable. LordofEditing (talk) 06:54, 23 November 2016 (UTC)
Yup, but I guess they gotta do something to keep people from getting insane amounts of stuff easily.TOTORO01 (talk) 07:12, 23 November 2016 (UTC)
That's up to the essence of probability to decide. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ LordofEditing (talk) 07:57, 23 November 2016 (UTC)
True, true.TOTORO01 (talk) 07:59, 23 November 2016 (UTC)

Key Molds

I think it would be better to add a console/mobile exclusive notice to the top of the guide instead of a general unobtainable label. Those items are still obtainable on mobile as far as I'm aware. Shadowsyllvet (talk) 03:03, 6 December 2016 (UTC)

Okay, didn't know that, sorry.TOTORO01 (talk) 03:22, 6 December 2016 (UTC)
Yes, Shadowsyllvet is correct. I have two Hallowed Key molds, and got one the other day. LordofEditing =(Talk)= 20:03, 21 December 2016 (UTC)
Yeah, I already changed it.TOTORO01 (talk) 04:49, 23 December 2016 (UTC)

Lunatic Cultist

You deleted my edit on the death head sprite, W U DO DIS plz tell me. I found that interesting 172.68.46.37 23:42, 20 December 2016 (UTC)

Are you talking about this :" His gore head has the square eye, like the clone, this means that he is a clone OR on defeat, teleports away, replaces himself with a clone and kills the clone to elude people."? It sounds pretty confusing and there are many better tips stated on the page for finding the real one.TOTORO01 (talk) 09:49, 21 December 2016 (UTC)
I believe this edit is meant (and yes that is your quote). And it was added as a trivia not a note or tip and I find that an interesting idea. Is it worth adding to the trivia section? I do not know, but it is worth discussing :-). Flisch42 (talk) 17:43, 21 December 2016 (UTC)
I don't know, it's quite a mouthful of what I would consider "meh" info.TOTORO01 (talk) 07:36, 22 December 2016 (UTC)

"Counterpart" versus "Converse"

The Flesh Knuckles page originally said: "They seem to be Crimson's counterpart to Corruption's Putrid Scent, since it decreases damage received and increases the odds of being targeted, while the Putrid Scent increases damage dealt and decreases odds of being targeted."

I changed "counterpart" to "converse" with the comment, "Changed mis-used "counterpart" (which in this context means "equivalent item") to "converse," which is exactly appropriate."

You reverted my change, saying, ""Counterpart" a person or thing holding a position or performing a function that corresponds to that of another person or thing. works"

I reaffirm my original change. If the Flesh Knuckles actually INCREASED damage dealt and DECREASED odds of being targeted, then Crimson's Flesh Knuckles WOULD BE the "counterpart" of Corruption's Putrid Scent. But it is not. It is exactly the opposite. That's not what "function that corresponds to" means. It IS what "converse" means.

Do you see what I mean? Shall we replace "counterpart" with "converse" or some other word or phrase meaning "opposite of"? DavidForthoffer (talk) 21:50, 6 January 2017 (UTC)

Counterpart was used because in this case because the crimson is equivalent to the corruption, only 1 can occur per world, with the same rarity and pretty much the exact same ore. Just with a different prefix. So, because the biomes are pretty much equivalent "counterpart" is 1. more understandable to people and 2. more suitable.TOTORO01 (talk) 03:44, 7 January 2017 (UTC)
Sure, Crimson is the counterpart of Corruption. But Flesh Knuckles are NOT the counterpart of Putrid Scent, because they have OPPOSITE effects. How about we say that Flesh Knuckles are the opposite of Putrid Scent? DavidForthoffer (talk) 03:29, 8 January 2017 (UTC)
Actually, upon further review "converse" does make more sense, and I think Flesh Knuckles' trivia section should match Putrid Scent's ( or be the opposite, if you know what i mean), sorry about this whole mess.TOTORO01 (talk) 12:35, 8 January 2017 (UTC)

New topic: Accuracy of Dryad status reports

I said that the Dryad's status report may inaccurately report corruption status, until the world is reloaded. You said you think it's not true, based on your experience. Maybe we are both right. I was running on PC. What were you running on? DavidForthoffer (talk) 03:33, 8 January 2017 (UTC)

I'm also running on PC, I'll test this when I get a chance, and get back to you :) TOTORO01 (talk) 12:36, 8 January 2017 (UTC)
