The Nurse will heal the player's health and cure them of any active debuffs at the cost of Coins (there are exceptions, see Notes and History).

In the 3DSVersão para Nintendo 3DS versions, healing costs can range from a few Copper to several Silver Coins, depending on how much health the player is missing. She charges Copper equal to 75% of the health restored (e.g. 75 for restoring 100 health), plus an additional 750 for every active debuff on the player.

In the Versão para Computador Versão para Computador, Versão para Console Versão para Console e Versão para Celular Versão para Celular, healing costs are 1 per health restored, plus an additional 1 per active debuff on the player, all multiplied by the Nurse's current Happiness price adjustment, and then doubled if playing on Modo Perito(Versões para Computador, Console e Celular). Also, the Nurse charges increasing amounts of money for healing as the game progresses; these specific increases are detailed below. Thus, at the start of the game, the cost of restoring 100 health can range from 75 / 150 (with maximum happiness) to 150 / 3 (with maximum unhappiness), while by endgame it can range from 150 / 3 up to 3 / 6.

In the Versão para Computador Versão para Computador, Versão para Console Versão para Console e Versão para Celular Versão para Celular, she will fight enemies by throwing Poison Syringe.png syringes that will deal 8 / 12 / 14 damage (affected by various stat boosts), and poison enemies for 3–5 seconds.[1] She can also use Healing Syringe.png healing syringes to heal herself and other nearby NPCs for 20 health.[2]

Price increases

Versão para ComputadorVersão para ConsoleVersão para Celular
Conteúdo exclusivo para Computador/Console/Celular Estas informações desta seção se aplicam somente às versões para Computador, Console e Celular do Terraria.

The cost of healing changes based on three factors: The Nurse's current Happiness, game progression, and Modo Perito(Versões para Computador, Console e Celular). Happiness affects the Nurse's price by raising or lowering it to within a range of 75% to 150% of its base (in the same way that other NPCs' prices are affected by their happiness). Playing in Expert (or Master(Versões para Computador, Console e Celular)) mode further affects prices by permanently doubling them. Progression-based price increases are based on which bosses have been defeated in the current world. These increases are listed in the table below; only the single highest applicable increase is chosen and applied.

Evento Price
Modifier[3]
Cost of Healing 100HP[cost 1]
Max Happiness Min Happiness
Clássico Perito Clássico Perito
Eye of Cthulhu beaten 225 450 450 9
Eater of Worlds / Brain of Cthulhu beaten 10× 750 15 15 30
Skeletron or Queen Bee beaten 25× 1875 3750 3750 75
Hardmode entered 60× 45 90 90 180

Plantera beaten 150× 11250 225 225 450
Golem beaten 200× 150 3 3 6
  1. The cost of healing 100 health is also equal to the cost of healing 1 debuff. Thus, the cost of healing 100 health and 1 debuff is 2x what is shown in this table; 100 health and 2 debuffs is 3x what is shown; etc.

Notas

  • If the player has an active debuff and is at full health, the heal option will also be available.
  • If planning on healing and drinking Ale, make sure to drink the Ale after healing, as Tipsy is technically a debuff and will be cured by the Nurse.
  • The Nurse can survive drowning forever due to the fact that she heals herself.
  • The Nurse cannot remove Potion Sickness, Water Candle, and Creative Shock, nor does she charge extra for them.
  • The Nurse cannot heal herself if the player is talking to her. This can, however, be circumvented with Autopause enabled.
  • If a healing syringe thrown by the Nurse does not hit her target, it will begin homing in on them.

Conquistas

Achievement The Frequent Flyer.png
Cliente Fiel • Gaste mais de 1 peça de ouro em tratamento com a enfermeira.
Gaste mais de 1 em total sendo tratado pela Enfermeira. (Versões para Computador, Console e Celular)

Dicas

  • The Nurse can be used as a "healing station" when at low health during a boss fight, by teleporting to the spawn point (using a Magic/Ice Mirror or a Cell Phone) where the Nurse is present. Autopause can be used to grant more time.
  • The Frequent Flyer achievement can be a difficult achievement to obtain (unless on Versão para Computador Computador, Versão para Console Console e Versão para Celular Celular), as it is very cheap to get healed by the nurse, unless you have a debuff. Having a nearby trap that inflicts a debuff, such as lava or a dart trap, can help a player obtain this achievement very quickly.
  • You could also have ale on hand, using it, then curing it, to get The Frequent Flyer achievement.

  • Curiosidades

    • There appears to be conflict between the Nurse and the Mechanic during a Blood Moon. During this time, the Merchant has a chance of saying, "Ah, ótimo. Consigo ouvir <name of Mechanic> e <name of Nurse> discutindo daqui."
    • The Arms Dealer seemingly has romantic interest in her according to his quotes when the Nurse is present. This is also reflected in the Nurse's quote "Ei, <name of Arms Dealer> falou algo sobre ir ao médico por algum motivo? Só estava pensando." The Nurse, despite her apparent feelings for the Arms Dealer, is already in a romantic relationship with someone as noted by the Stylist in her quote, "Mmm, ouvi falar da <name of Party Girl> que a amiga de <name of Mechanic>, <name of Nurse>, gastou todo o salário do seu namorado comprando sapatos." However, this could most likely be the arms dealer.
    • The Nurse is depicted in a painting called "Nurse Lisa", a reference to the famous portrait painting Mona Lisa by the Italian Renaissance artist Leonardo da Vinci.
    • (Versões para Computador, Console e Celular) When talking to the Nurse while in a crowded area, she will say, "Ei, não gosto da falta de distanciamento social neste local." This is a reference to the COVID-19 pandemic that was ongoing at the time of Journey's End launch, and the "social distancing" practice people are encouraged to follow by staying six feet or two meters away from people in public.
    • During a Festa(Versões para Computador, Console e Celular), when the Nurse dons a party hat, her hairstyle is different. She wears it down instead of up in a ponytail: Nurse (Party).png This makes sense as wearing a party hat while having hair in a ponytail would be cumbersome.
    • The Nurse's quote, "Eu não ofereço finais felizes." is a reference to the practice of masseuses offering sexual favors, or 'happy endings', to their clients at the end of a massage for additional payment.
      • The Nurse will not say "Eu não ofereço finais felizes." if the Blood and Gore setting is turned off.[3]
    • Although the Zoologist is registered as hated by the Nurse, she doesn't seem to actually hate her. The dialogue indicates that the Nurse hates the Zoologist's unique anatomy more than the Zoologist herself: "Ah, odeio cuidar de <name of Zoologist>, é tão difícil." (However such a phrase is also often used to describe someone who is being difficult. Example: refusing to be still while being given a shot).
    • O registro no BestiaryBestiário para o Enfermeira é: "O comportamento sarcástico e a falta de trato da Enfermeira podem até ser assustadores, mas pelo preço certo ela cura tudo o que aflige um terrariano machucado."

    Histórico

    • Computador 1.4.0.1:
      • Now charges increasing amounts of money for healing as the game progresses.
      • Fixed a bug where the condition for the quote about the Guide was that a Demon Eye (rather than the Guide) is present.
    • Computador 1.2.3: Nurse no longer charges for or removes heart lantern and campfire buffs. This also applies to the Potion Sickness and Water Candle debuffs.
    • Computador 1.1: Now has random name given to her on spawn. Her deaths will be reported with this name. Also other NPCs will use it in their quotes. No longer spawns a second nurse in multiplayer.
