Used to display a standarized description for critters.

Usage

Basic info

name

Name of the critter. Defaults to {{PAGENAME}}.

plural

Set to y if name is plural (e.g. Dragonflies).

article

Defaults to the. Leave it blank to omit the article (e.g. for Grubby).

pronoun

This parameter is used by specific languages. Set pronoun by the critter name. See russian template for example.

noenemydamage

Set to y if the critter cannot be harmed by enemies (Mouse and Rat).

isgold

Set to y if used on page about a gold critter.

When set to y, the nostatue will also be automatically set to y, and text about sell value will be added after cage info.

Bug Net

By default, this template will output a description about the critter can be caught with any Bug Net, and its cage info.

When isgold is set to y, text about sell value will be added after cage info.

underworld/hell

Set to y if the critter is a lava bait (e.g. Lavafly). Also adds "enable lava fishing" in bait description.

nobugnet

Set to y if the critter cannot be caught (e.g. Dolphin).

cagename

Overrides the default "[[name Cage]]".

Bait

bait

By default, this is determined automatically via {{iteminfo}}. Set to y if the bait power description is needed.

baitpower

Overrides the default "{{iteminfo|name|bait}}".

Statue

nostatue

Set to y if there is no respective critter statue.

statuename

Overrides the default "[[name Statue]]".

Gold variant

gold

Set to y if the critter has a gold counterpart.

goldname

Overrides the default "[[Gold name]]".

The Bunny can be caught with any Bug Net to be carried around in the inventory and released later, or crafted into animated decorative furniture (Bunny Cage). Once crafted, the Bunny cannot be released again, unless the furniture item is de-crafted via Shimmer(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions).

The Bunny can be spawned by the Bunny Statue, however statue-spawned critters cannot be caught with any Bug Net, and will disappear in a puff of smoke when the player attempts to do so.

Critter that cannot be killed by enemies

The Mouse can be spawned by the Mouse Statue, however statue-spawned critters cannot be caught with any Bug Net, and will disappear in a puff of smoke when the player attempts to do so.

Critter with bait power

The Worm can be spawned by the Worm Statue, however statue-spawned critters cannot be caught with any Bug Net, and will disappear in a puff of smoke when the player attempts to do so.

On the Desktop version Desktop version, Console version Console version, and Mobile version Mobile version, there is a 1/400 (0.25%) chance for a Gold Worm to spawn in place of an ordinary one.

The Water Strider can be used as bait for fishing, with 17% bait power.

There is a 1/400 (0.25%) chance for a Gold Water Strider to spawn in place of an ordinary one.

Once crafted, the Gold Water Strider cannot be released again, unless the furniture item is de-crafted via Shimmer(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions). The Gold Water Strider itself or the crafted furniture can be sold for 10 GC.

The Gold Water Strider can be used as bait for fishing, with 50% bait power.

Lava bait critter

The Lavafly can only be caught with the Lavaproof Bug Net or the Golden Bug Net. Trying to catch it with a standard Bug Net will only set the player on fire. After being caught, it can be carried around in the inventory and released later, or crafted into animated decorative furniture (Lavafly in a Bottle). Once crafted, the Lavafly cannot be released again, unless the furniture item is de-crafted via Shimmer(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions).

The Lavafly can be used as bait for fishing, with 25% bait power. Using it as bait also allows fishing in lava.

Non-catchable critter

Unlike most critters, the Dolphin cannot be caught with a Bug Net, which means there is no craftable cage for it.

A certain type of critter (plural)

Once crafted, the Cockatiels cannot be released again, unless the furniture item is de-crafted via Shimmer(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions).

Cockatiels can be spawned by the Cockatiel Statue, however statue-spawned critters cannot be caught with any Bug Net, and will disappear in a puff of smoke when the player attempts to do so.
