Desktop-Only Content: This information applies only to the Desktop version of Terraria.

The 1.3.0.8 update is the official release of the Mac and Linux versions of Terraria. Since it contains very few changes, it has no formal changelog.

This version was made permanently available separately on Steam as "Lunacy!" on May 16, 2025. It can be accessed by right-clicking on "Terraria" in the game library, selecting "Properties...", and then "Betas".

Changes

• The game engine has been modified in order to allow compatibility with Mac and Linux systems.
• Added config.json setting "KeyFavoriteModifier", set to "LeftAlt" by default. This key will be used with left click for favoriting and chat linking.
• Added -savedirectory launch parameter which can specify Terraria's save folder.

Trivia

• This update was accidentally called "1.2.0.8" by Terraria's official Twitter account. In reality, there is no such version.
