Aetherium Blocks are blocks formed when Shimmer comes into contact with any other liquid besides itself. Similarly to Ice Blocks, Aetherium Blocks have low friction, causing a player walking over them to slide when stopping or changing directions. This effect can be mitigated by equipping Ice Skates or other accessories crafted from them. Aetherium Blocks emit light when placed.

Trivia

• Standing on Aetherium Blocks causes an occasional particle of iridescent star dust to appear. Walking or running on them causes a trail of particles to follow behind the player.
