Trivia

  • Being introduced in the Desktop 1.3.0.1 update and not obtainable until Desktop 1.4.0.1, it is likely that this wall was originally supposed to be found near Desert Fossil patches in the Underground Desert, but this was never implemented.
  • There are two placed versions of the Desert Fossil Wall in Terraria's code: wall ID 223, which was introduced in 1.3.0.1 and remains unused, and wall ID 311, which was introduced in 1.4.0.1.
    • Both are considered safe.
    • The original one (wall ID 223) does not drop as an item when destroyed, which can be seen when placing it in a world via third-party tools like map editors.
