Block	Appearance	Summoned By	Notes
Magical Ice Block		Ice Rod	A temporary block only lasting a few seconds before shattering into nothing. Can be summoned in mid-air which makes it convenient for climbing and building permanent structures in mid-air.
Demonite Brick		Wall of Flesh	Included here for completion, Demonite Bricks are summoned in Corruption worlds as a box around the items dropped by the Wall of Flesh to prevent them from falling into lava.
Crimtane Brick(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions)		Wall of Flesh	Included here for completion, Crimtane Bricks are summoned in Crimson worlds as a box around the items dropped by the Wall of Flesh to prevent them from falling into lava.
Sand Block		Sand Ball ( Antlion, Sandgun)	Included here for completion, Sand Blocks are summoned from sand "projectiles" fired by Antlions and the Sandgun. The latter will also summon a Sand Block when it hits an enemy in addition to the ground.
Snow Block		Snow Balla	Included here for completion, Snow Blocks are summoned from snow ball "projectiles" thrown from Snow Ballas during the Frost Legion invasion. The snow ball may become a Snow Block when it comes into contact with another block.
