Light's Bane / Blood Butcherer
Light's Bane
The Light's Bane is crafted using 10 Demonite Bars at an Iron or Lead Anvil. Demonite Ore is exclusive to Corruption worlds. The player can get Demonite Ore by mining it, by killing the Eye of Cthulhu and killing the Eater of Worlds.
Blood Butcherer
The Blood Butcherer is crafted using 10 Crimtane Bars at an Iron or Lead Anvil. Crimtane Ore is exclusive to Crimson worlds. The player can get Crimtane Ore by mining it, by killing the Eye of Cthulhu, and killing the Brain of Cthulhu.
Muramasa
The Muramasa can be found in the Locked Chests in the Dungeon. A good way to find the Dungeon is to go past the Snow Biome or go to the opposite side the Jungle Biome is. Defeating Skeletron is required to enter the Dungeon however, as a Dungeon Guardian will instantly kill the player.
On the Drunk world(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) seed the depth the Dungeon Guardian spawns at is lowered, allowing the player to potentially obtain the Muramasa before Skeletron.
Blade of Grass
The Blade of Grass is crafted using 15 (12 (Old-gen console and 3DS versions)) Jungle Spores, 15 (12 Old-gen console ) Stingers, and 3 Vines at an Iron or Lead Anvil. The player can get all of these in the Underground Jungle. Jungle Spores drop from small bulbs that glow a lime green light, Stingers are sometimes dropped by Hornets and Spiked Jungle Slimes, and Vines are sometimes dropped by Man Eaters.
Volcano
The Volcano is crafted using 20 Hellstone Bars at an Iron or Lead Anvil. The player can get Hellstone Bars by smelting 3 Hellstone and 1 Obsidian at a Hellforge. Hellstone is found naturally in the Underworld, and creates lava when it is mined. Obsidian can be made by pouring water on lava or found naturally.
Crafting Station
The player will need to find a Demon or Crimson Altar in their world's evil biome.
Tips
- (Old-gen console and 3DS versions)The Night's Edge can help with destroying the Hungry during the Wall of Flesh fight. Attacking the boss directly is not recommended.
- (Desktop, Console and Mobile versions)Due to the Night's Edge receiving a buff to its range in 1.4.4 it is now more viable for fighting the Wall of Flesh itself.
- In Hardmode, enemies will have much more defense and health. Obtaining a good sword like the Night's Edge prior to activating Hardmode can be very helpful for keeping enemies like Wraiths and Armored Skeletons at bay in early Hardmode.
- The Night's Edge can be upgraded into the True Night's Edge, which is stronger and shoots a projectile.
