Jellyfish jars are animated decorative furniture items. The Jellyfish needed to craft these decorations are bait items obtained by fishing, not by killing the actual Jellyfish enemies. By throwing a jellyfish jar into shimmer, it can be converted back into its ingredients, gaining back the jellyfish as an item.

Jellyfish jars can be placed on top of solid blocks and platforms, and give off a faint light. They function as valid light sources for houses and illuminate underwater, but are not controllable mechanisms like some other light sources.
