Coin Stashes (or Caches) are extremely rare background items that drop moderate to large sums of Coins when mined with a Pickaxe. There are two types of coin stashes: small 2×1 pouches, which are often found within Pyramids but can be found elsewhere, and large 3×2 sacks (that appear to be spilled over rocks), which are found randomly Underground.
Each contains a single coin type, though the amount can surpass 99 coins. For example, a Copper Coin stash may contain 200 coins, effectively providing 2 Silver Coins.
Their rarity rises according to the coin values, with Gold Coins being the rarest. There are no Platinum Coin pouches.
Unlike several other naturally generated objects, coin stashes cannot be crafted with the help of Ecto Mist(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions), but can be placed with the Rubblemaker using coins.
