Chandeliers
Chandeliers are a type of furniture and light source suitable for house lighting requirements that hang from the ceiling. Chandeliers come in many varieties which differ only in appearance and sell value. All chandeliers can be picked up using a pickaxe, drill, or explosives. Chandeliers take up a 3×3 area of tile space and can be turned on and off using mechanisms.
The Large Dynasty Lantern is considered a chandelier because of its dimensions.

Notes
- The Gold Chandelier and Golden Chandelier are two different items that can easily be confused. The Gold Chandelier is craftable and can be found in Underground Cabins, whereas the Golden Chandelier is only dropped during Pirate Invasions.
- Despite their appearance and ingredient, chandeliers cannot be hung on Chains.
- The Copper, Tin, Silver, Tungsten, Gold, and Platinum Chandeliers generate in Underground Cabins in their "off" state. Picking them up and placing them back down turns them into their "on" state.
Trivia
- Prior to 1.4.0.1(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions), the Large Dynasty Lantern could be exploited to obtain infinite coins. 1000 Dynasty Wood cost 5 GC from the Traveling Merchant, and an equal number of Torches cost the same from the Merchant. Combined, they produce 250 lanterns that were worth 15 GC, for a profit of 5 GC with no material needed.
- The Forbidden Chandelier's design is based on the Forbidden Sign in Forbidden armor's set bonus.
