The Eucalyptus Sap is a pet-summoning item that spawns a Sugar Glider that follows the player. When the player is far enough away or in midair, the Sugar Glider flies while extending its gliding membranes to catch up to them. The Eucalyptus Sap has a small chance of dropping when the player shakes a Forest tree.

Trivia

  • The sugar glider is a real-life arboreal, nocturnal marsupial native to Australia.
  • The item's name is a reference to the tendency for real-life wild sugar gliders to drink the sap from eucalyptus trees, as well as make their nests in them.
  • The method of obtaining this item is similar to that for obtaining the Holiday Bauble(3DS version).
  • The Eucalyptus Sap's sprite, apart from its red coloration, appears very similar to Ichor's.
