Not to be confused with the Plantera Seedling, the pet dropped by Plantera in Master Mode, or the Seedler, a sword dropped by Plantera.
The Seedling is a pet-summoning item. It has a 5*1/20 (5%) chance of being dropped by Plantera. It summons a Pet Sapling that follows the player. If the player flies too high or otherwise moves far enough away from it, it will sprout leaflets and use them to fly with the player, acting as "wings".
