The Nightmare Pickaxe is a pre-Hardmode, post-Eater of Worlds pickaxe. It can mine blocks up to Hellstone, Crimstone Blocks, and Ebonstone Blocks.
Its Crimson counterpart is the Deathbringer Pickaxe. The Nightmare Pickaxe has slightly less pickaxe power and mining speed.
Its best modifier is Legendary. However, due to rounding, Legendary, Light, Deadly, Agile, Quick, and Nasty provide equal boosts to mining speed for this tool.
