The Zephyr Fish is a pet-summoning item that spawns the Zephyr Fish pet to follow the player around. (Old-gen console and 3DS versions) The pet will not teleport to the player when it is far away, unlike most other pets. The Zephyr Fish is rarely caught from fishing in any body of water. The chance to catch it is 2/3125 (0.06%) with 50% Fishing Power and 4/3125 (0.13%) with 100% Fishing Power.

Trivia

• The pet is similar to Flying Fish but with different colors.
• Zephyr is a Greek word meaning (the gentle) west wind. Zephyr has been used in various media, and in the naming of numerous land, air, and sea vessels.
