The Axe of Regrowth is a pre-Hardmode tool that has the functionalities of the Staff of Regrowth along with the ability to function as an axe and automatically plant Acorns when trees are chopped.

Its best modifier is Light for harvesting purposes and Legendary for combat purposes.

Notes

• Only trees that can be grown from Acorns will be affected.
  • When used to chop down Cacti, gem trees, or Giant Glowing Mushrooms, nothing will be placed.
  • When used to chop down vanity trees, only regular Acorns will be planted instead of Sakura / Yellow Willow Saplings.
• The Axe of Regrowth does not require or consume any Acorns in the player's inventory to plant trees.
• While in hand, projectiles made from hooks and minions will also harvest seeds from mature herbs.

Tips

• The Axe of Regrowth will generally remain relevant as an axe throughout game progression, due to its unique ability to replant Acorns from trees it chops down.
