The Cosmic Skateboard is a Hardmode, post-Golem pet-summoning item that spawns an Alien Skater to follow the player around. When the player is far enough away or in midair, the Alien Skater turns its skateboard into a rocket-powered hoverboard to catch up to them. The Cosmic Skateboard has a 1/4 (25%) chance of dropping from the Martian Saucer in Master Mode.

Trivia

  • The Alien Skater's buff tooltip, "How do you do, fellow humans?", is a reference to a cutaway gag in the American television sitcom 30 Rock, in which Lenny Wosniak walks up to a group of teens and asks "How do you do, fellow kids?" while holding two skateboards.
