Luminite Pickaxes are Hardmode, post-Moon Lord pickaxes. The four types are the Solar Flare Pickaxe, Vortex Pickaxe, Nebula Pickaxe, and Stardust Pickaxe. They are the alternate versions of the Luminite Drills, having a slower mining speed but longer range and the ability to benefit from mining speed bonuses. All four pickaxes have identical stats and can mine all blocks.

Their best modifier is Legendary. However, due to rounding, Legendary, Light, Deadly, Agile, Quick, and Nasty provide equal boosts to mining speed for these tools.

Tips

Despite having 5% less pickaxe power than the Laser Drill, their mining speed in practice is identical, and no blocks require the extra pickaxe power.
