The Molten Skull Rose is a pre-Hardmode immunity accessory. It grants 7 seconds of immunity to lava, immunity to the Burning debuff, and reduces damage taken from lava.

Notes

  • The Lava Charm, Molten Charm, Magma Skull, Lava Waders, and Terraspark Boots all stack with the Molten Skull Rose to increase lava immunity by 7 seconds each. The Demonic Hellcart also gives an additional 7 seconds. Of these, only the Demonic Hellcart is not itself a Lava Charm upgrade.
    • In Classic Mode, the player can equip 5 of these accessories and the Demonic Hellcart to increase lava immunity to a maximum of 42 seconds.
    • In Expert Mode, the player can equip an additional 6th accessory after consuming the Demon Heart, for a maximum of 49 seconds.

Tips

History

  • Desktop 1.4.4:
    • Recipe now takes a Lava Charm instead of a Magma Stone
    • Now gives temporary Lava Immunity, instead of adding Hellfire to attacks
  • Desktop 1.4.1: Now inflicts Hellfire, a variant of On Fire! that does 15 DPS instead of 4.
