The Princess Dress bears resemblance to the dress worn by Princess Zelda in the action-adventure game The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time from The Legend of Zelda series. Princess Zelda's tiara in the game contains a ruby rather than a sapphire, however.
The Princess Dress in this set and the Princess Dress from Goodie Bags is one of the three pairs of items that share the same name. The other pairs of items are: Seaweed pet-summoning item and Seaweed junk; Corrupt and Crimson Deathweed Planter Boxes.
