The Necromantic Scroll is a Hardmode, post-Plantera accessory that increases the player's maximum number of minions by one and increases the damage of all summon weapons by 10%. The Necromantic Scroll is dropped by the Mourning Wood during the Pumpkin Moon event with a 2–20% (5–20%) chance depending on the current wave.[1]

Tips

  • The Squire's Shield(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions), Monk's Belt(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions), Apprentice's Scarf(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions), and Huntress's Buckler(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) are identical to this accessory, except they increase the maximum number of sentries. They can be considered an alternative, as the additional sentries may be more useful in events, while the Necromantic Scroll's max minion boost is generally better during exploration and fights against a single target or boss.

History

  • Desktop 1.4.4: Tooltips of summon-related items now say "summon damage" instead of "minion damage".
