The Gold Watch is a high-tier watch. It enables an on-screen display of the in-game time, accurate to the last minute.

Its alternate ore counterpart is the Platinum Watch.

Notes

  • (Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) Unlike most accessories, informational accessories such as the Gold Watch do not need to be equipped in an accessory slot. The Gold Watch may be carried in the player's inventory without loss of functionality, unless equipped to a social slot. Additionally, the info it provides will be shared with players of the same team in multiplayer that are within 50 tiles. Keep in mind modifiers will no longer apply to the player when not equipped.
  • It must be equipped to work in the Old-gen console version Old-gen console version. It will not display the time if it is in the inventory.

History

  • Desktop 1.3.0.1: Now works while in the inventory and time is displayed on the right side instead of the left.
  • Desktop 1.2.4: Fixed bug where watches show 2 colons ':' when displaying time.
  • Console 1.0.750.0: (PlayStation 4)
    • Sprite updated to match Desktop 1.3.1.
    • Now works while in the inventory and time is displayed on the right side instead of the left.
  • Mobile 1.3.0.7:
    • Made craftable again.
    • Now functions correctly.
    • Now functions in the inventory.
    • Used to craft the 1 Second Timer again.
    • Now used to craft the GPS/Cell Phone.
  • Mobile 1.2.6508:
    • Made uncraftable.
    • No longer used to craft the 1 Second Timer.
