Silver armor is a pre-Hardmode armor set consisting of the Silver Helmet, Silver Chainmail, and Silver Greaves. Crafting a full set requires a total of (Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) 60 / (Old-gen console and 3DS versions) 75 Silver Bars ((Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) 240 / (Old-gen console and 3DS versions) 300 Silver Ore). The full set grants 13 defense while equipped.

Its alternate ore counterpart is the Tungsten armor.

The Silver Greaves are interchangeable with the Boots of Ostara(3DS version) to grant the set bonus.

  • This armor is used in this wiki for demonstrating how dyes work on the character, due to its white color.

History

  • Desktop 1.4.1: Silver Bars needed to craft the Silver Helmet, Silver Chainmail, and Silver Greaves respectively decreased from 20/30/25 to 15/25/20.
  • Desktop 1.0.3:
    • Set bonus increased from 2 defense to 3 defense in order to match the previously incorrect tooltip.
    • Armor graphics changed.
