Not to be confused with the Bundled Party Balloons, a vanity item, or the Silly Tied Bundle of Balloons, a furniture item.
The Bundle of Balloons is an accessory that allows the wearer to perform a quadruple jump, as well as increasing the player's jump duration by 33% and jump speed by 30%. Each of the jumps has an effect from the different combined items: sandstorm jump, then blizzard jump, then cloud jump.
Crafting this item requires three of the variants of Cloud in a Balloon, which in turn requires a total of 3 Shiny Red Balloons. In particular it requires the relatively rare Sandstorm in a Bottle, which, on Old-gen console and
, can only be found in a Pyramid.

Notes
- Stacking the Bundle of Balloons with a Fart in a Jar or a Fart in a Balloon, Tsunami in a Bottle(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) or a Sharkron Balloon(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions), and a Blessed Apple(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) can provide a septuple jump.
- The order will be: Jump > Unicorn(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) > Sandstorm > Blizzard > Fart > Tsunami(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) > Cloud.
- The Bundle of Balloons, however, will not stack with any other accessory that was used to craft it or its prerequisite balloons.
- (Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) If the player has wings equipped, holding the ↷ Jump button will activate wing flight immediately without consuming extra jumps, while pressing the ↷ Jump button will consume the next available jump instead of activating wing flight. If the player continues to hold the ↷ Jump button, wing flight will activate immediately after the jump ends. If all flight time is consumed without releasing the ↷ Jump button, the player will enter slow fall. After this, any remaining jumps may be consumed, with slow fall starting immediately after each one.
- (Old-gen console and 3DS versions) If the player has wings equipped, pressing the ↷ Jump button will consume the next available jump, and holding the ↷ Jump button afterwards allows slow fall after each jump. The Cloud jump and all extra jumps before it must be consumed before the player can activate wing flight.
Tips
- The Bundle of Balloons does not provide immunity to fall damage, despite the extreme jump heights it allows players to achieve. Without additional fall protection, players can incur severe fall damage after multiple jumps. In combination with the Rocket Boots or their upgrades, it is easy to achieve a height at which over 400 damage will be taken upon landing, killing most characters instantly.
- This item can be a viable alternative to wings until post-Golem, when enemies become significantly harder to reach or avoid.
- This can be made even more effective with Spectre Boots (or their upgrades) and/or Amphibian Boots(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions). The former gives an extra flight bonus, and the latter grants faster and higher jumps, while both grant higher running speed.
- The extra jumps from the Bundle of Balloons allow for much faster turning and higher vertical acceleration than most early wings at the start of each jump. This can be used to quickly reach top speed or dodge faster ranged attacks.
- The key item for crafting this is the relatively rare Sandstorm in a Bottle, which is only available from a Pyramid or Oasis Crates(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) in pre-Hardmode, and Pyramids might not generate in all worlds. The other two extra jump bottles are far more common; the Cloud in a Bottle appears frequently in underground Chests, and both the Blizzard in a Bottle and the Shiny Red Balloons can be obtained by fishing for biome crates if necessary.
- Entering Hardmode, the Sandstorm in a Bottle can be crafted from Forbidden Fragments(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions), making it much more accessible.
- The Sandstorm in a Bottle can also be purchased from the Princess(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) in a Desert in Celebrationmk10(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) worlds.
- When using a non-flying mount, like a Unicorn(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) or Wolf(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions), the extra jumps can be more useful than wings.
- The Frog Leg boosts the effectiveness of the Bundle of Balloons by providing a significant increase to jump height and speed.
Trivia
- The Bundle of Balloons is one of the only pre-Hardmode items that, with a high level modifier, can attain
rarity.
- (Old-gen console and 3DS versions) Even though the sprite of the Bundle of Balloons depicts a green balloon, assumed to be the Fart in a Balloon, it is not actually used to craft the Bundle of Balloons, nor does it appear within the extra jump sequence.
