Pumpkin armor is a pre-Hardmode armor set consisting of the Pumpkin Helmet, Pumpkin Breastplate, and Pumpkin Leggings. Crafting a full set requires a total of 75 Pumpkins. The full set grants 7 defense and increases all damage dealt by the player by 10% while equipped.

Tips

Pumpkin armor can be obtained very easily during Halloween, as Pumpkins grow naturally on grass in sufficient quantities. This makes the armor set obtainable before fighting any bosses.
- Outside of Halloween, it can be obtained by transmuting(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) Cactus into Pumpkins, or by purchasing Pumpkin Seeds from the Dryad (although this does require defeating a boss).
Pumpkin armor is an excellent early-game set. It grants more defense than similar sets, like Wood or Cactus armor.
- It is particularly useful for players using summon weapons, as there are few other armor pieces that boost summon damage and are available this early in the game.
