Crimson armor is a pre-Hardmode armor set consisting of the Crimson Helmet, Crimson Scalemail, and Crimson Greaves. Crafting the full set requires a total of 60 Crimtane Bars and 45 Tissue Samples.

Its alternate ore counterpart is the Shadow armor.

The full set grants the following effects while equipped:

+(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) 9% / (Old-gen console and 3DS versions) 6% damage
Greatly increased health regeneration rate, indicated by faint red pulses around the player: Each pulse represents one health point regenerated. These become more frequent the longer the player avoids damage, and even more frequent while standing still.
The player leaves a visual trail of red bubbles while moving.
