The Band of Starpower is an accessory that increases the player's maximum mana by 20. The Band of Starpower has a 1/5 (20%) chance of being obtained from destroying Shadow Orbs found in the Corruption or a 1/5 (20%) chance from Corrupt Crates(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) and Defiled Crates(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions), which are fished in the Corruption. On the  Desktop version,  Console version, and  Mobile version, it can furthermore be crafted, and on the Nintendo 3DS version, it can be found in Living Trees.

Tips

• It is recommended to quickly upgrade it to Mana Regeneration Band as it gives extra mana regeneration and extra max mana.

Crimson worlds

• Getting a Band of Starpower takes special measures in Crimson worlds, since it is normally dropped from Corruption-exclusive Shadow Orbs.
  • On the  Desktop version,  Console version, and  Mobile version, the Band of Starpower can be crafted in the Graveyard, from a Panic Necklace and a Mana Crystal. It is also obtainable in Hardmode by fishing up Defiled Crates(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) in an artificial Corruption biome, which can be made with Corrupt Seeds from the Dryad when in a Hardmode Graveyard.
  • On the Nintendo 3DS version, the Band of Starpower can be found in Living Wood Chests.
