Shields

Shields are a type of defensive accessory which increase the player's defense and grant other benefits, usually including immunity to knockback.

All shields except the Huntress's Buckler can synergize with the Brand of the Inferno(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) and Sergeant United Shield(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) to block enemies' attacks.

Squire's Shield(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions)		Increases max number of sentries by 1 Increases summon damage by 10%
Hardmode
Ankh Shield	+ ( @ )	Increases defense by 4 Provides immunity to the following debuffs: Poisoned, Darkness, Cursed, Bleeding, Confused, Slow, Weak, Silenced, Broken Armor, Chilled, Stoned(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) Grants immunity to the Burning debuff inflicted by contact with Meteorite and Hellstone Grants immunity to knockback
Sergeant United Shield(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions)	Traveling Merchant(Desktop, Console, Old-gen console and Mobile versions) (35 GC)	Homes in on nearby enemies and will chain its attack to 4 additional enemies Can parry attacks with `⚒ Use / Attack`, grants the Striking Moment buff on successful parry Cannot synergize with the Brand of the Inferno
Paladin's Shield		Increases defense by 6 While health is above 25%, redirects 25% of the damage taken by nearby team members to the wearer Grants immunity to knockback
