Rain armor is a pre-Hardmode armor set consisting of the Rain Hat and Rain Coat. Each piece has a 1/40 (2.5%) chance to be dropped by Rain Coat Zombies. The full set grants 3 defense while equipped.

  • Rain armor is one of two armor sets that comes in two pieces, the other one being the Wizard set.

History

  • Desktop 1.4.0.1: Sprites updated. The hat displays hair underneath when equipped, and the coat no longer removes female shirts, changing their equipped appearance from Rain armor (old).png Rain armor female (old).png to Rain armor.png Rain armor female.png.
  • Desktop 1.3.0.1:
    • Now provides defense (was previously a vanity set).
    • Rarity changed from Blue to White.
    • Decreased drop chance from 1/20 (5%) per piece to 1/40 (2.5%) per piece.
  • Console 1.0.750.0: (PlayStation 4)
    • Updated sprites to match Desktop 1.3.2.
    • Now provides defense (was previously a vanity set).
    • Rarity changed from Blue to White.
