Crimson armor is a pre-Hardmode armor set consisting of the Crimson Helmet, Crimson Scalemail, and Crimson Greaves. Crafting a full set requires a total of 60 Crimtane Bars (180 Crimtane Ore) and 45 Tissue Samples.

It is the Crimson counterpart to The Corruption's Shadow armor.

The full set grants the following effects while equipped:

+19 defense
+9% damage
Greatly increased health regeneration rate, indicated by faint red pulses around the player: Each pulse represents one health point regenerated. These become more frequent the longer the player avoids damage, and even more frequent while standing still.
The player leaves a visual trail of red bubbles while moving.
