Wood armor is a pre-Hardmode armor set consisting of the Wood Helmet, Wood Breastplate, and Wood Greaves. Crafting a full set requires a total of 75 Wood. The full set grants 3 defense while equipped.

Notes

  • The Wood Greaves do not provide any bonuses on their own. Their only value comes from completing the armor set, enabling the set bonus of 1 defense.

Tips

  • Nearby biomes, especially the Desert, offer their own early-game armors which are all better than Wood armor.

Trivia

Wood armor shown dyed with all available dyes.
  • The Wood Greaves are one of the three armor items which do not grant any defense. The other two are the Amethyst Robe and the Djinn's Curse.
    • The Wood Greaves are the only armor item in the game that does not provide any benefit when worn without the whole armor set.
