The Palm Wood Sword is an alternate version of the Wooden Sword. It is crafted from Palm Wood, which is obtained by cutting down palm trees in the Ocean or Oasis(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) biomes.

Its best modifier is Legendary.

Tips

• The damage of the Palm Wood Sword is equivalent to that of the Boreal Wood Sword(Desktop, Console, Old-gen console and Mobile versions), Iron Shortsword, and Rich Mahogany Sword. Obtaining one of these instead may require less effort.
• Once the player has collected some Acorns and sand, they can grow palm trees closer to their base by planting them in sand. Naturally, palm trees only grow at the Ocean and Oasis(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) biomes.

Trivia

• The Palm Wood Sword's sprite is very similar to that of the Wooden Sword; however, there are a few changes, the most obvious being that it has a lighter color. Also, the handle is slightly different in that its quillons are horizontal, whereas the Wooden Sword's shorter quillons stand parallel to the blade.
