Achievements or Accomplishments are earned by performing various tasks in the world of Terraria.

Achievements introduced in 1.3.0.1

These achievements are available on the  Desktop version,  Console version, and  Mobile version. There are a total of 88 achievements.

• The Xbox One version, version, iOS and   Google Play versions still have achievements in addition to the in-game ones from the  Old-gen console version and GameCenter and Google Play respectively, but these achievements are deprecated.

Achievement	Conditions & Notes
Timber!! • “Chop down your first tree.” Chop down a tree.	Can be earned by picking up any of the 9 kinds of wood from other sources. May be a reference to woodsmen saying "Timber!!" after cutting down a tree
No Hobo • “Build a house suitable enough for your first town NPC, such as the guide, to move into.” Successfully get an NPC to move into your first House.	A reference to the phrase "no homo".
Stop! Hammer Time! • “Obtain your first hammer via crafting or otherwise.” Obtain a hammer.	Besides all other hammers, can also be earned by picking up the Paladin's Hammer. A reference to a lyric in the MC Hammer song, U Can't Touch This.
Ooo! Shiny! • “Mine your first nugget of ore with a pickaxe.” Mine your first ore.	Placing an ore block (except Luminite) and then mining it also grants the achievement. The ore in the photo is Copper Ore.
Heart Breaker • “Discover and smash your first heart crystal underground.” Find and break a Life Crystal.	This will not be granted if broken via Actuating the block(s) underneath the crystal.
Heavy Metal • “Obtain an anvil made from iron or lead.” Obtain your first Iron or Lead Anvil.	A nod to the music genre of the same name, which is frequently referenced in-game: Plantera and its associated items, as well as the Blood Rain Bow
I Am Loot! • “Discover a golden chest underground and take a peek at its contents.” Open an underground Gold Chest.	A reference to Groot's famous (and only) line "I Am Groot" from the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise.
Star Power • “Craft a mana crystal out of fallen stars, and consume it.” Consume your first Mana Crystal.
Hold on Tight! • “Equip your first grappling hook.” Equip a Grappling Hook.	To get this achievement, the grappling hook needs to be in the grappling hook slot.
Eye on You • “Defeat the Eye of Cthulhu, an ocular menace who only appears at night.” Defeat the Eye of Cthulhu for the first time.	Reference to the saying "I've got my eye on you".
Smashing, Poppet! • “Using explosives or your trusty hammer, smash a Shadow Orb or Crimson Heart in the evil parts of your world.” Smash your first Shadow Orb or Crimson Heart.	Reference to The Wild Thornberrys, an American animated television series that originally aired on Nickelodeon from 1998 to 2004. The catchphrase of the protagonist girl's father is "Smashing" and he usually calls his daughter "Poppet".
Worm Fodder • “Defeat the Eater of Worlds, a massive worm who dwells in the corruption.” Defeat the Eater of Worlds for the first time.
Mastermind • “Defeat the Brain of Cthulhu, an enormous demon brain which haunts the creeping crimson.” Defeat the Brain of Cthulhu for the first time.	In the description of the Steam version of the achievement, "enormous" is misspelled as "enourmous".
Where's My Honey? • “Discover a large bee's hive deep in the jungle.” Discover your first Bee Hive.	Only requires entering the Bee Hive. Natural hive walls must be behind the player. A reference to the video game Where's My Water?.
Sting Operation • “Defeat the Queen Bee, the matriarch of the jungle hives.” Defeat the Queen Bee for the first time.	References Sting operations, a law enforcement tactic used to catch criminals via deception.
Boned • “Defeat Skeletron, the cursed guardian of the dungeon.” Defeat Skeletron for the first time.	Reference to the word "Owned", usually used when a person defeats an opponent in a game.
Dungeon Heist • “Steal a key from the dungeon's undead denizens, and unlock one of their precious golden chests.” Unlock your first Gold Chest within the Dungeon.	Achievement name is a reference to the 2011 heist comedy film Tower Heist.
It's Getting Hot in Here • “Spelunk deep enough to reach the molten underworld.” Reach The Underworld for the first time.	Reference to the song Hot In Herre. The file name for the achievement misspells it as "Its Hetting Hot in Here" (This was corrected in 1.4.0.1).
Miner for Fire • “Craft a molten pickaxe using the hottest of materials.” Craft a Molten Pickaxe.
Still Hungry • “Defeat the Wall of Flesh, the master and core of the world who arises after a great, burning sacrifice.” Defeat the Wall of Flesh for the first time.	Note that defeating the Wall of Flesh will initiate Hardmode in a pre-Hardmode world. Possibly a reference to the 1980’s band “Twisted Sister” and an album of the same name as the achievement.
It's Hard! • “Unleash the ancient spirits of light and darkness across your world, enabling much stronger foes and showering the world with dazzling treasures (and rainbows!).” Enter Hardmode.	The Wall of Flesh must be defeated in a pre-Hardmode world. This achievement can also be earned if the player is in a pre-Hardmode world and another player defeats the Wall of Flesh. The achievement image appears to show the various souls obtainable in Hardmode. Clockwise, starting from the top-left, it seems to be: Sight, Night, Fright, Light, Flight, and (barely visible) Might.
Begone, Evil! • “Smash a demon or crimson altar with a powerful, holy hammer.” Smash a Demon or Crimson Altar, using the Pwnhammer.	Any hammer with a hammer power of 80% or any method to break Altars will do, as long as the Altar is destroyed This achievement can only be earned in Hardmode.
Extra Shiny! • “Mine a powerful ore that has been newly blessed upon your world.” Mine your first Hardmode ore.	Placing down any Hardmode ore (except Luminite or Chlorophyte Ore) and mining it can also earn this achievement. The drill in the picture is a Cobalt Drill mining Mythril Ore.
Head in the Clouds • “Equip a pair of wings.” Have a pair of wings equipped.	Fledgling Wings count towards this achievement.
Like a Boss • “Obtain a boss-summoning item.” Obtain any boss-summoning item.	A reference to the song Like a Boss.
Buckets of Bolts • “Defeat the three nocturnal mechanical menaces: the Twins, the Destroyer, and Skeletron Prime.” Defeat all three mechanical bosses.
Drax Attax • “Craft a drax or pickaxe axe using hallowed bars, and the souls of the three mechanical bosses.” Craft your first Drax or Pickaxe Axe.
Photosynthesis • “Mine chlorophyte, an organic ore found deep among the thickest of flora.” Mine your first Chlorophyte Ore.	Placing Chlorophyte Ore down and then mining it also grants the achievement. A reference to Chlorophyte's resemblance to chlorophyll, green pigments in plants essential for photosynthesis.
Get a Life • “Consume a life fruit, which grows in the thick of subterranean jungle grass.” Consume a Life Fruit.	Using a character that already has 500 life will not work. Is a pun on Life Fruit and the common taunt "Get a life".
The Great Southern Plantkill • “Defeat Plantera, the overgrown monstrosity of the jungle's depths.” Defeat Plantera for the first time.	Can only be summoned once the three Mechanical Bosses have been defeated. A reference to the heavy metal band Pantera's eighth album, The Great Southern Trendkill.
Temple Raider • “Breach the impenetrable walls of the jungle temple.” Unlock the Jungle Temple's Lihzahrd Door.	A reference to the Tomb Raider media franchise.
Lihzahrdian Idol • “Defeat Golem, the stone-faced ritualistic idol of the lihzahrd tribe.” Defeat Golem for the first time.	Post-Plantera. A reference to the singing competition television series American Idol.
Robbing the Grave • “Obtain a rare treasure from a difficult monster in the dungeon.” Obtain a rare item from an enemy in the post-Plantera Dungeon.	Pick up a weapon dropped by any post-Plantera enemy in the Dungeon, except the Shadow Jousting Lance.
Big Booty • “Unlock one of the dungeon's large, mysterious chests with a special key.” Open your first Biome Chest.	Open a Biome Chest (can only be done after Plantera is defeated).
Fish Out of Water • “Defeat Duke Fishron, mutant terror of the sea.” Defeat Duke Fishron for the first time.	A reference to the expression "fish out of water" meaning someone who is outside their comfort zone or area of expertise.
Obsessive Devotion • “Defeat the Ancient Cultist, fanatical leader of the dungeon coven.” Defeat the Lunatic Cultist for the first time.	Post-Golem. Note that this will initiate the Lunar Events.
Star Destroyer • “Defeat the four celestial towers of the moon.” Defeat all four Celestial Pillars.	Note that defeating all four Towers will summon the Moon Lord. Possible references to the Star Destroyers in the epic space opera media franchise Star Wars. Requires the player to deal at least 1 damage to each Pillar before it is defeated. Pillars can be defeated on separate worlds.
Champion of Terraria • “Defeat the Moon Lord.” Defeat the Moon Lord for the first time.	Had a different image before the release of 1.3.0.1, as not to spoil the surprise of what the final boss would look like before 1.3 was released. It was a silhouette of the Moon Lord, only showing the eye at the top of his head and his shape.
Bloodbath • “Survive a blood moon, a nocturnal event where the rivers run red and monsters swarm aplenty.” Survive your first Blood Moon.
Slippery Shinobi • “Defeat King Slime, the lord of all things slimy.” Defeat King Slime for the first time.	Shinobi is another word for Ninja, clearly referencing the ninja inside the King Slime.
Goblin Punter • “Triumph over a goblin invasion, a ragtag regiment of crude, barbaric, pointy-eared warriors and their shadowflame sorcerers.” Defeat a Goblin Army for the first time.	Possible reference to a quote in The Hobbit.
Walk the Plank • “Triumph over a pirate invasion, a group of pillagers from the sea out for your booty... and your life!” Defeat the Pirate Invasion for the first time.
Kill the Sun • “Survive a solar eclipse, a day darker than night filled with creatures of horror.” Survive a Solar Eclipse.
Do You Want to Slay a Snowman? • “Triumph over the frost legion, a festive family of maniacal snowman mobsters.” Defeat the Frost Legion for the first time.	Reference to the 2013 Disney film Frozen, which has a song called "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?"
Tin-Foil Hatter • “Triumph over a martian invasion, when beings from out of this world come to scramble your brains and probe you in uncomfortable places.” Defeat the Martian Invasion for the first time.	Named for tin foil hats, often associated with alien conspiracy theorists.
Baleful Harvest • “Reach the 15th wave of a pumpkin moon, where evil lurks among the autumn harvest.” Reach the 15th wave of a Pumpkin Moon.
Ice Scream • “Reach the 15th wave of a frost moon, where the festive season quickly degrades into madness.” Reach the 15th wave of a Frost Moon.	A reference to the popular children's song, "I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!".
Sticky Situation • “Survive the slime rain, where gelatinous organisms fall from the sky in droves.” Survive the Slime Rain.
Real Estate Agent • “Have all possible town NPCs living in your world.” All town NPCs are housed in your world.	The Traveling Merchant, Old Man, and Skeleton Merchant are not Town NPCs and Santa Claus and the Tavernkeep are not considered for this achievement. Therefore, only the remaining 21 Town NPCs are required.
Not the Bees! • “Fire a Bee Gun while wearing a full set of Bee Armor.” Fire a Bee Gun while equipped in a full set of Bee armor.	Do not confuse Bee armor with the Bee set. Reference to Nicholas Cage in the 2006 mystery horror film The Wicker Man.
Jeepers Creepers • “Stumble into a spider cavern in the underground.” Enter your first underground Spider Nest.	"Jeepers Creepers" is an expression of surprise or annoyance.
Funkytown • “Build or encounter a glowing mushroom field above the surface.” Encounter an above-ground Glowing Mushroom biome.	Requires 100 Glowing Mushroom biome blocks. Shares the name with the 1980 Lipps, Inc. single Funkytown.
Into Orbit • “You can only go down from here!” Reach Space.	Reach the top of Space.
Rock Bottom • “The only way is up!” Reach the very bottom of The Underworld.	Reach the bottom of The Underworld.
Mecha Mayhem • “Do battle against the Twins, the Destroyer, and Skeletron Prime simultaneously and emerge victorious.” Defeat all three mechanical bosses simultaneously in a single battle.	Can be obtained by defeating Mechdusa.
Gelatin World Tour • “Defeat every type of slime there is!” Defeat at least one of every type of slime.	The types that are counted for this achievement are Baby, Black, Blue, Corrupt, Dungeon, Green, Ice, Illuminant, Jungle, King, Lava, Mother, Purple, Rainbow, Red, Slimeling, Slimer (without wings), Spiked Ice, Spiked Jungle, Umbrella, Yellow, Toxic Sludge, Crimslime, and Pinky. Seven are Hardmode, three are Corruption-exclusive, and one is Crimson-exclusive.
Fashion Statement • “Equip armor or vanity clothing in all three social slots.” Equip armor or vanity clothing in all three social slots.	Also known as Vanity Armor slots.
Vehicular Manslaughter • “Defeat an enemy by running it over with a minecart.” Kill an enemy by running over it with a minecart.	Killing an enemy with the laser attack from the Minecart Upgrade Kit will not work.
Bulldozer • “Destroy a total of 10,000 tiles.” Mine a total of 10,000 tiles.
There are Some Who Call Him... • “Kill Tim.” Defeat Tim for the first time.	Reference to Tim the Enchanter from Monty Python and the Holy Grail, and his quote "There are some who call me... Tim."
Deceiver of Fools • “Kill a nymph.” Defeat a Nymph for the first time.	Needs to be killed in Nymph form. Killing a Lost Girl before it transforms into a Nymph will not count.
Sword of the Hero • “Obtain a Terra Blade, forged from the finest blades of light and darkness.” Obtain a Terra Blade.
Lucky Break • “Survive a long fall with just a sliver of health remaining.” Survive a fall with not much health left.	With 500 health, a defense of 0 and no items to negate fall damage, the player must fall exactly 74 blocks. (70 HP)
Throwing Lines • “Throw a yoyo.” Throw a yoyo for the first time.
Dye Hard • “Equip a dye in every possible dye slot.” Equip dyes in all dye slots.	3 armor dye slots, 5 accessory dye slots, and 5 equipment dye slots (Pet, Light Pet, Minecart, Mount, and Grappling hook). This is a reference to the 1988 American action thriller Die Hard.
Sick Throw • “Obtain the Terrarian.” Obtain the Terrarian.
The Frequent Flyer • “Spend over 1 gold being treated by the nurse.” Spend over 1 total being treated by the Nurse.	It does not have to be all at once. You can get healed by the nurse every so often and it adds up. To get this achievement faster, purposely make the Nurse unhappy, so that she will charge for more coins. A Red Potion can also be used to get this achievement quickly, as it causes a lot of debuffs. However, this will not work in a for the worthy world.
The Cavalry • “Equip a mount.” Equip your first mount.
Completely Awesome • “Obtain a minishark.” Obtain the Minishark.	A nod to the Minishark's tooltip, Half shark, half gun, completely awesome.
Til Death... • “Kill the groom.” Defeat The Groom for the first time.	Likely reference to traditional marriage vows found in the Book of Common Prayer and the Alternative Service Book which include the phrase "til death do us part".
Archaeologist • “Kill Doctor Bones.” Defeat Doctor Bones for the first time.	Doctor Bones is a parody of Indiana Jones, also known as Doctor Jones.
Pretty in Pink • “Kill pinky.” Defeat Pinky for the first time.	Probably a reference to the 1986 American romantic comedy movie by the same name, Pretty in Pink.
Rainbows and Unicorns • “Fire a rainbow gun while riding on a unicorn.” Fire a Rainbow Gun while riding a Unicorn Mount.	Rainbows and unicorns is a common idiom that describes a wonderful, yet unrealistic scenario.
You and What Army? • “Command nine summoned minions simultaneously.” Have nine minions summoned at the same time.	See Minions for information on summoning multiple minions, and Minion Count for maximising minion summons. Having 8 Minions and then summoning another will grant the achievement. You and What Army? is a phrase of defiance used in many forms of media.
Prismancer • “Obtain a rainbow rod.” Obtain the Rainbow Rod.
It Can Talk?! • “Build a house in a mushroom biome and have the Truffle move in.” Have a Truffle move into a house created in the Glowing Mushroom biome.	It must be above the surface for the Truffle to move in.
Watch Your Step! • “Become a victim to a nasty underground trap.” Get killed by a trap for the first time.	Being killed by explosives activated by a Pressure Plate also works. You must be killed by the trap; merely taking damage will not work. Being killed by anything while poisoned by a Dart Trap will count for the achievement.
Marathon Medalist • “Travel a total of 26.2 miles on foot.” Travel a total of 26.2 miles (69,168 tiles) on foot.	26.2 miles is equivalent to 69,168 tiles.
Glorious Golden Pole • “Obtain a golden fishing rod.” Obtain the Golden Fishing Rod from the Angler.	Reward from the Angler, after exactly 30 quests or 0.4*1/250 (0.4%) chance after 75 quests.
Servant-in-Training • “Complete your 1st quest for the angler.” Complete 1 Angler quest.
Good Little Slave • “Complete your 10th quest for the angler.” Complete 10 Angler quests.
Trout Monkey • “Complete your 25th quest for the angler.” Complete 25 Angler quests.
Fast and Fishious • “Complete your 50th quest for the angler.” Complete 50 Angler quests.	The name of this achievement is a reference to various movies titled Fast and Furious. Another possible reference could be the 1969 experimental rock album Trout Mask Replica, where the phrase "fast and bulbous" is used several times throughout.
Supreme Helper Minion! • “Complete a grand total of 200 quests for the angler.” Complete 200 Angler quests.
Topped Off • “Attain maximum life and mana possible without accessories or buffs.” Reach maximum health and mana.	500 health and 200 mana. Requires 15 Life Crystals, 20 Life Fruit, and 9 Mana Crystals.
Slayer of Worlds • “Defeat every boss in Terraria.” Defeat every boss in the game.	There are a total of 15 bosses to defeat: Brain of Cthulhu, The Destroyer, Duke Fishron, Eater of Worlds, Eye of Cthulhu, Golem, King Slime, the Lunatic Cultist, the Moon Lord, Plantera, Queen Bee, Skeletron, Skeletron Prime, The Twins, and the Wall of Flesh. Event bosses are not counted and only one of the Brain or the Eater needs to be beaten, although the achievement image displays the Eater of Worlds. Empress of Light, Deerclops, and Queen Slime are not necessary for this achievement. The achievement image appears to have a character wearing Red's armor in it, presumably Redigit.
You Can Do It! • “Survive your character's first full night.” Survive your first full night.
Matching Attire • “Equip armor in all three armor slots: head, chest, and feet.” Equip armor pieces in all armor slots (pieces do not have to be from the same set).	The armor set in the picture is Copper armor. This does not have to be a matching set.

Fae Flayer • “Defeat the Empress of Light, responsible for all those flashy lights and glitter.” Defeat the Empress of Light for the first time.
Just Desserts • “Defeat Queen Slime, giving the coup-de-grace to the sovereign of all that jiggles.” Defeat the Queen Slime for the first time.	A common pun on the idiom, "just deserts".
Don't Dread on Me • “Defeat the Dreadnautilus, murderous mollusk lurking beneath the surface of the sanguine seas.” Defeat the Dreadnautilus for the first time.	A reference to the motto of the Gadsden Flag, in which the motto reads "Don't Tread on Me"
Hero of Etheria • “Repel the strongest forces the Old One's Army can muster.” Defeat the last round of the Old One's Army.	Achievement is granted after defeating Betsy, upon the status message, "The old one's army has been defeated!"
Infinity +1 Sword • “Obtain the Zenith, the culmination of a journey forged into the ultimate sword.” Obtain the Zenith.	A reference to the identically named trope on TV Tropes.
Boots of the Hero • “Obtain the Terraspark Boots, forged from the finest boots of fire and ice.” Obtain the Terraspark Boots.
A Rather Blustery Day • “Fly a kite on a windy day.” Fly a kite on a Windy Day.	A reference to Winnie-the-Pooh, both a common phrase used by the characters (aptly, to refer to windy days) and a song of the same name.
Quiet Neighborhood • “Enter a misty graveyard filled with the surly dead.” Enter in a Graveyard for the first time.	The icon is possibly a reference to the movie Ghostbusters II.
Hot Reels! • “Drop a lure in a pool of lava for a pre-fried haul!” Use any fishing pole in lava.	A reference to Hot Wheels toy cars.
Heliophobia • “Trick a gnome into turning into stone!” Turn a Gnome into a Garden Gnome.	Heliophobia is the fear of the sun. Note that Gnomes are likely to spawn inside a naturally generated Living Tree.
Leading Landlord • “Meet with a tenant who's as happy as they possibly can be!” Talk to any town NPC while its happiness is at its maximum.	Can be easily achieved by housing the Party Girl, Wizard, and Zoologist in the Hallow biome and then speaking with the Party Girl, or housing the Arms Dealer and the nurse in the desert and talking to the Arms Dealer.
Feeling Petty • “Deliver headpats to the town pet.” Pet a Town pet.
Hey! Listen! • “Encounter a fairy.” Encounter a Fairy.	A reference to Navi, a character from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
Jolly Jamboree • “What you're celebrating doesn't matter, just throw a party already!” Throw a Party.	May be a reference to the Reader Rabbit song of the same name in Reader Rabbit Preschool. Party Center does work for this achivement.
Dead Men Tell No Tales • “You were so preoccupied with whether or not you could open the chest that you didn't stop to think if you should.” Die within 10 seconds after opening a Dead Man's Chest.	Die within 10 seconds after activating a Dead Man's Chest. "Dead men tell no tales" is a well-known proverb, often used as a motive for murder. Tooltip is a reference to the character Ian Malcolm's iconic line "Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn’t stop to think if they should" from Jurassic Park.

Achievement	Notes
An Eye For An Eye • “Defeat Deerclops, the chilly one-eyed monstrosity from a foreign land.” Defeat Deerclops for the first time.	The title of the content crossover update between Terraria and Don't Starve Together, in which the Deerclops was added.
Feast of Midas • “Obtain Golden Delight, the highest quality meal made from the highest quality . . . ingredients.” Obtain a Golden Delight.	In Greek mythology, Midas was a king who was granted the ability to turn anything he touched into gold.
Unusual Survival Strategies • “Delay death from drowning by drinking water. It doesn't make much sense, but you did what you had to do.” Drink Bottled Water while drowning.	The player's breath meter has to be depleted (i.e. losing health due to drowning) when the Bottled Water is consumed.
Black Mirror • “Obtain the Cell Phone. You'll never leave home without it again.” Obtain the Cell Phone.	A reference to the British anthology television series Black Mirror, which mostly portrays near-future dystopias with science fiction technology.
Ankhumulation Complete • “Obtain the Ankh Shield, the finest protection from unpleasant maladies and ailments.” Obtain the Ankh Shield.
Torch God • “Invoked the wrath of the God of Torches, and survived long enough to earn its blessing.” Use the Torch God's Favor.
A Rare Realm • “Some very special seeds can lead to unique and rewarding experiences. Can you find one?” Enter a world using any secret world seed.
The Great Slime Mitosis • “Find all of the Slime Pets and have them move in!” All Town Slimes are housed in the world.
A Shimmer In The Dark • “Shimmer an item into another item. What other transmutations can you find?” Transmute an item.	The transmutation can be decrafting an item or any of the special item transmutations.
And Good Riddance! • “Completely purify all Corruption, Crimson, and Hallow from your world, until the Dryad is satisfied!” Check the world status from the Dryad when there are no Corruption, Crimson, and Hallow tiles in the world.	Can be obtained pre-Hardmode.
To Infinity... and Beyond! • “Fly a Kwad Racer into outer space.” Fly a Kwad Racer out of the top border of the world.	Buzz Lightyear's catchphrase in the American animated film series Toy Story.

Corruptible • “Your world is corrupt!” Have 50% of your world Corrupt.	10	50% is only the minimum. Ask the Dryad to see your progress. Despite the achievement's name and image, the world does not need to be a corrupt world, making the achievement possible in a Crimson world.
Hallowed Be Thy Name • “Your World is Hallowed” Have 50% of your world Hallowed.	10	50% is only the minimum. Ask the Dryad to see your progress. Probably a reference to the song by the same name from the Iron Maiden album The Number of The Beast. The phrase is also in the opening of the Lord's Prayer found in Matthew 6:9 of the Christian Bible.
Ophthalmologist • “You have defeated The Twins!” Defeat The Twins for the first time.	15	An ophthalmologist is a specialist in ophthalmology, a branch of medicine and surgery which deals with the diagnosis and treatment of eye disorders. The Twins seem to have the eye disorder central heterochromia iridum.
Bona Fide • “You have defeated Skeletron Prime!” Defeat Skeletron Prime for the first time.	15
Ride The Worm • “You have defeated The Destroyer!” Defeat The Destroyer for the first time.	15	The name of the achievement is a reference to 1965 book "Dune".
Marathon Runner • “You have traveled over 42km on the ground!” Run 42 km (~68,898 tiles).	20
Landscaper • “You have removed more than 10,000 blocks!” Mine a total of 10,000 blocks.	15
Crowd Control • “You have defeated the Goblin Army!” Defeat a Goblin Army for the first time.	15	This achievement's name is referenced in the tip "When dealing with a Goblin Army, crowd control is key."
Survivor • “You have survived the first night!” Survive your first full night.	10
Icarus • “Reach the top of the World!” Reach Space.	10	Reach the top of the map. This achievement's name is a reference to the legend in Greek Mythology in which Icarus, son of Daedalus, flew too close to the sun, causing his wings to melt.
Vanity of Vanities • “Looking good!” Equip a full set of vanity items and/or armor.	10	Reference to the Bible phrase "vanity of vanities, all is vanity" (Ecclesiastes 1:2).
Pet Hoarder • “You seem to like pets.” Obtain all exclusive pets.	10	The Bone Key is required.

I'm Smelting! • “You have smelted 10,000 bars of metal!” Smelt 10,000 bars of metal.	20	Most likely a reference to the phrase "I'm melting!" spoken by the Wicked Witch of the West in the 1939 American musical fantasy movie The Wizard of Oz.
A Knight in Shining Armors • “Obtain every type of armor available.” Equip every set of armor available.	15
Engineer • “You have placed 100 wires!” Place 100 wires.	10
Red Moon Rises • “You have survived the Blood Moon!” Survive your first Blood Moon.	10

Gone in 60 seconds • “You ran continuously for 60 seconds.” Continuously run for 1 minute. Gone in 60 seconds • “You ran continuously for 60 seconds!” Continuously run for 1 minute.	Bronze	You need Hermes Boots and a long flat area for this. This achievement's name is a reference to the film "Gone in 60 Seconds".
Appease the Volcano Gods • “You sacrificed The Guide in boiling hot magma!” Let your Guide die in lava.	Silver	Throwing the Guide Voodoo Doll into lava will not work. He needs to die directly by standing in lava.
Homicidal • “You killed The Guide, you maniac!” Equip the Guide Voodoo Doll and kill the Guide.	Silver

Old Mobile version achievements

Achievements were available on the Apple App Store /   Google Play versions. There are a total of 12 achievements, for a total of 1000 points () 100,000 XP ( ). These achievements can no longer be unlocked by new players due to the ground-up recode in Mobile 1.3.0.7.

• There is one enemy capable of completing five achievements at once when slain:
  • King Slime (Slippery Shinobi, Slayer of Worlds, Sticky Situation, Vehicular Manslaughter, Gelatin World Tour.)
• There are four enemies capable of triggering four achievements at once when slain:
  • Wall of Flesh (Still Hungry, Slayer of Worlds, It's Hard!, and Vehicular Manslaughter)
  • Any mechanical boss (Buckets of Bolts, Slayer of Worlds, Mecha Mayhem, and Vehicular Manslaughter)
• There is one enemy capable of triggering three achievements at once when slain:
  • Pinky (Gelatin World Tour, Vehicular Manslaughter, and Pretty in Pink)
• Achievements for and Xbox 360 have different descriptions in terms of wording. refers to the player completing an action while Xbox 360 simply states that the action was performed.
•   The nine trophies without a corresponding achievement are: Appease the Volcano Gods, Back for Second, Completionist, Gone in 60 seconds, Hellevator, Homicidal, Is This Heaven?, Leap a tall building in a single bound, and Safe Fall.
• It is possible to add and remove achievements by modifying achievements.dat. It can be found in the following locations:

• As of version 1.3.4, there are six unimplemented achievements in the game code:
  • Behind The Mask – Slay the Insane Cultist, a mad magician with powerful spells.
  • Davy Jones' Locker – Defeat the Flying Dutchman, the sails of the plunderin' skies.
  • Winterhearted – Defeat the Ice Queen, wicked witch of the coldest nights.
  • Pumpkin Smasher – Defeat the Pumpking, the spooky lord of hallow's eve.
  • Independence Day – Defeat a Mothership, overminds of the martian invaders.
  • Hex Education – Defeat a Goblin Summoner, conjurers of the darkest flames.
• It is possible to purchase the Minishark, obtain the achievement for obtaining it, and sell it back for full price so long as you don't close the Arms Dealer's shop window (if you have no intention to keep it).
• It is possible to obtain the You and What Army achievement with only a minion capacity of 8, but summoning another minion. This is because the previously summoned minion will not disappear until after the ninth has been spawned.
• Even if Ooo! Shiny!, Extra Shiny! and Photosynthesis appear to require mining the ore, it can also be destroyed by explosives or the Digging Molecart to get the achievement.
  • Block Swap does not count for this achievement.
  • However, only blocks mined with a pickaxe or a drill will count towards the Bulldozer achievement.

Trivia

• The unimplemented achievement Pumpkin Smasher is a reference to the American alternative rock band The Smashing Pumpkins.
• The unimplemented achievement Independence Day is a reference to the 1996 American science fiction action movie Independence Day, where the military fights attacking aliens.
• The unimplemented achievement Behind The Mask was left unused due to a similar achievement already being available.
• The unimplemented achievement Hex Education is a pun on "sex education" and the Goblin Warlock's hex related powers (such as the Shadowflame Hex Doll it drops).
• The icons for the Sick Throw and Throwing Lines achievements have the same appearance, but with different colors.
• The Big Booty achievement does not include the Desert Key in its icon, due to it being introduced before the Desert Key was added.
• The Heart Breaker achievement could be in reference to the achievement acquired after completing Valve's Portal (video game).

• Desktop 1.4.4.8: The Truffle Worm, Celestial Sigil, Gelatin Crystal, Prismatic Lacewing and Deer Thing now grant the Like a Boss achievement.

  • Fixed fishing achievements not being counted on Steam or resetting on startup.
  • "Dye Hard" now properly requires having all of the equipment slots include dye, rather than just armor/accessory slots.

• Desktop 1.3.0.3:
  • Fixed "event" achievements not being granted in multiplayer ("You can do it!", "It's Hard!", "No Hobo" and so on)
  • Fixed "Funkytown" achievement will no longer be granted after respawning from death in the glowing mushroom biome.
