—
The Party Girl
The Party Girl is an NPC vendor who sells festive novelty items and furniture.
Unlike other town NPCs, the Party Girl only has a 1/40 (2.5%) chance to be eligible for spawning every 2-minute interval, during which she is subject to regular NPC spawn rate, once the criteria below are met. In other words, she will take on average 40 times longer to spawn than regular NPCs. Along with this percentage chance, she will move in once the following criteria are met:
- There is an available vacant house.
- (Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) 14 /
12 / (Old-gen console version) 8 other town NPCs are in the world. Note that while the Old Man, Traveling Merchant, and town pets(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) count towards this total, the Skeleton Merchant(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) does not.[2]
On the Desktop version,
Console version, and
Mobile version, if the Party Girl is killed, she will respawn with normal spawn chances instead of being rarer. On the
Old-gen console version and Nintendo
version, she will still follow the lower chance when respawning.
On the Desktop version,
Console version, and
Mobile version, the Party Girl will defend herself against nearby enemies by throwing Happy Grenades at them, dealing 30 / 45 / 52 damage at the start of the game, and as players progress she will gain various stat increases.[1] The Party Girl also has a 1/4 (25%) chance of dropping 30–60 Happy Grenades upon death.
On the Desktop version,
Console version, and
Mobile version, when talked to during a natural Party, she will give the first player to talk to her a Slice of Cake.

Music toggle
After the player has entered a drunk world, the game unlocks the option to toggle the game's default soundtrack for the Terraria: Otherworld soundtrack by selecting the "Music" option through the Party Girl. Once unlocked, the option carries across all players and all worlds.
Every song in Terraria's soundtrack is replaced, and those that do not have a Terraria: Otherworld equivalent will use the most relevant song; for example, the Underground Jungle will simply use Terraria: Otherworld's Jungle theme, rather than Terraria's Underground Jungle theme.
In a multiplayer world, players only hear the altered soundtrack if they have used the "Music" option themselves, which is only present for those who have visited seed 05162020. However, Otherworld music boxes are listenable for all players on multiplayer worlds, regardless of whether they have toggled the option before.
Every new song has its own unique Music Box, all of which are called "Otherworldly Music Boxes".
Upon leaving the world, the soundtrack will revert to the default.

Shimmered form
When submerged in Shimmer, the Party Girl will transform into her Shimmered form. This has no impact on gameplay or dialogue and is only a visual change. She can be returned to her classic look by submerging her in Shimmer again.
Notes
- The Party Girl will replace the Guide as the starting NPC in drunk worlds(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions), and one of the starting NPCs in Get fixed boi(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) worlds.
The Party Girl is summoned with a King Statue instead of a Queen Statue.
- Though the Party Girl is mostly seen as a source of novelty and decorative items, a number of her items are fairly useful:
- The Bubbles that she sells have a variety of practical uses, such as holding honey and water in midair to provide health regeneration and activate the Cute Fishron's speed boost, respectively.
- Her Firework Rockets can also be used as an elaborate way to kill bosses.
- Pigronatas(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) provide an early (and safe, but expensive) source for Bacon. They also drop Party Bullets, which have better stats than Silver Bullets.
- The Slice of Cake(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) she offers to players provides a buff that is useful for building.
